2018 -19 NHL season

Ya Price played good, few others not so much.
Looks like some players should be running out of time to prove them selves.
 
I watched the first period and missed this. Getting an OT point after winning last 2 in Calgary and Vancouver is encouraging.

Game recognizes game.

Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin had nothing respect for Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price after getting absolutely robbed on a potential game-winning goal.

Price made an incredible sprawling blocker save to deny Ovechkin of what would have been his third goal of the game with less two seconds left in the third period on Monday.

Ovechkin initially stared at the roof in disbelief before realizing all he could do was give his opponent a round of applause and bump gloves.

The stop was one of 29 saves for Price, but the Capitals would win 5-4 in overtime.

I watched most of the game, none of this was on Price.
Habs played a solid two, with a great start in 2nd
scoring 3 in 75 seconds. then they started taking penalties
which against the caps is not advisable.
a few badly missed assignments and thats all she wrote.
Price has look very good last 3 starts, habs play well when they skate.
they don't skate for even a little time, they pay for it quickly.
 
Checked the Standings and Leafs are #1 in Atlantic Division with 30 Points, Lightning in Second with 29, Sabres in 3rd with 28.

Habs are in 1st Wild card position with 26 Points and Bruins right behind them with 25 Points but Boston has a game in hand.

Habs are in New Jersey Tonight, game at 8 Atlantic.

Bruins are in Detroit, so every Point Counts.

Eastern Conference looks Like this:

1. Leafs
2. Lightning
3 Sabres
4. Blue Jackets
5. Canadiens
 
The Habs were suppose to play in New Jersey, but didn't show up.
Price let in 5, last one he would want back but other 4 were not on him
and score likely should have been 8 or 9

Leafs think they have defence problems LOL
 
Sabres Beat Habs 3-2 in OT last night.8 Wins in a row now for Buffalo who are second in Atlantic 2 points ahead of Toronto.

Bruins in Montreal tonight.
 
Ya, once Habs tied it up in the 3rd it was a close game. Drouin was a hero one minute for getting a Spectacular goal, then Cost them the game with a 4 minute blood drawing High Sticking Penalty that resulted in a Boston Power play Goal. Including OT games, Habs have lost their last 4 games. They better start winning some soon, or they will be playing Golf in April like they did last year. Weber is expected back in the Line Up this week.
 
Watched the first 2 periods of the Montreal-Carolina game last night. Habs played well but luck wasn't on their side and they lost 2-1. Weber played 25 minutes and looked good. For the first time this Season, Canadians are out of the the Top 8 in the east in 9th place.

Sabres have won their last 10 and are on Top of the League Standings with 36 Points.
 
Glad you guys positive, I am less so and seen last few games differently.
They are playing 30 mins of 60 minutes game. You rarely hear Drouin, Domi or Gallagrers name
lately and its often not in a good way. a pile of shots on net, scary how many great chance they had
and missed the net. They are out of playoff spot, with 3 teams behind them within a point and a game in hand.
the bad play of late could really cost them, take a look at couple of those teams chasing and in front.
Montreal does not have the luxury to play bad for a month and over come it.
they need to get it together now and at the very lest compete like they did in October.
Weber looked good and after a few games will be better again ( timing)
I feel bad for price, even with some of higher score losses he has looked very good
and going them a chance to win.

Montreal is now 10th in eastern conference and 3 spots out of wild card.
with 2 teams in front and pens behind having a game in hand.
Room for error is now gone. Habs better figure it out and fast.
 
Habs won over Rangers Weber didn't look to rusty in this one.
Much needed win for Montreal.

Toronto won again and Signed Nylander to 41.6 million 6 year deal.
He will add to an already potent offence.
Dubas paid more than leafs wanted, does this affect Marner and Matthews
money going forward?

If Scoring 2 Goals makes Weber look not too rusty, he would have been the Golden Boy with a Hat Trick., Lehkonen got 2 to bring his total to 4 so far this year and Byron played his part in a few of those, glad to have him back from Injury. And Tatar scoring # 5 was the Icing on the Cake.

Sharks are in Montreal to Play Habs tonight, then Habs meet Sens twice this week. The Standings are so close Point Wise that last nights Win got Habs back into 2nd Wild Card Spot behind Bruins.
 
Sharks were the Better team,I only watched the first 2 and was surprised when I got the final score this morning, 3-1, thought Sharks would have a better spread, Credit to Price, although he gave up a couple that he should have stopped, he made some good saves in the second half of the game.

Habs play Ottawa on Tuesday and again on Thursday night, they better Win both.
