I guess the Wild were the "Stars" of that game, and they were pretty Wild Too !
 
Habs play Hurricanes at home tonight, then 2 more Home games, Saturday against Ottawa and Monday when Bruins are in Town. They better Win all 3, cause after that they go on a 6 game Road Trip.

Colorado on the 19th, Arizona on the 20th, Vegas on the 22nd, Sunrise Florida on the 28th, Tampa Bay on the 29th then Dallas on New Year's Eve.
 
Went to bed after the 1st period of Habs - Hurricanes game last night. Should have watched the entire game, Canadians win 6-4 with 2 Goals by Petry, and 1 each from Weber, Peca, Shaw and Lehkonen. Price's 4th Win in a Row. The other night against Wild when they pulled Niemi with 12 minutes to go, Price didn't let any in. Habs are 1 Point behind Boston and 5 ahead of penguins and red Wings.

One of the things working against the Habs with the Minnesota game is that the Habs Annual Rookie Supper was the night before. They never play Good the day following one of those.

So they Won 3 straight, lost to the Wild, won last night, if they can win next two home games and half of their 6 Road games till end of year, they will not be in too bad of a position in the Standings come January.
 
I figure the Habs need to play 600 hockey in order to make the playoffs.
I will ask again, being a fringe team with likely first round exit is that good or bad.
As a fan, I want them to win. But more important they build to be a contender.
Sometimes being on edge, you stay there to long, because no real moves
are made. To be honest I am not sure. MB is such an idiot, if we make playoffs
he may think team is great and do very little. If don't make he is forced to improve.
 
Yea ! 4 Goals in the 3rd Period, Beating Sens 5-2 for the 3rd time in 12 days. Habs have won 5 of their last 7 games and Price has Won his last 5 games started.

Habs moved up to 1st Wild card Spot ahead of Bruins and are only 5 Points behind the Leafs who are second in Atlantic.

Important game Monday against Boston, a Must Win for Habs.

that's half the fun, Of course Habs and Bruins IMO have the most storied rivalry
in sports. So we cheer for our teams and anytime the other falters its like a bonus :)
For us we also have Leafs fans, but that story is more sad really :)
 
Actually the Leafs Story is going pretty good for their Fans this year. It's only sad for Montreal and Boston Fans.

Boston Montreal Game should be Good tonight.


And I plan on clapping and Cheering tonight as much as I did in the last 3 Ottawa-Montreal games.

Bruins deceived the win, although I believe a few montreal players
at least should get some assists for the goals.
Montreals passing to the Bruins was impeccable LOL.
Sad game by the Habs.
 
Ya, that game Sucked for sure. The Laval Rocket could have done better. It was very painful to watch. Worst game the Habs have played all year. So far this year, the game following a humiliation like that, the Habs come back strong.
