2018 -19 NHL season

Senators are in Montreal tonight then Canadians in Ottawa for a game Thursday. Next game for Habs after that is Sunday in Chicago. I'm hoping they win at least one of the Ottawa games if not both and on paper they shouldn't have any trouble beating Black Hawks, but then again the Habs have lost 5 out of their last 6 games. :(

I tend to agree, they need to up there game. I think they played well early and
forgot what got them there. They started to believe the reports, highly skilled.
Most are not, skill with hard work will make up for a lot of things.
They are not skating hard, winning races or winning battles for pucks.
Normal skill won't make up for that. so here's hoping they smarten up.
Go habs go.

I did the math they need to play around 600 to make playoffs.
win 6 out of 10 is not easy but doable.

I think one thing us Habs fans have done is Left MB alone
this year, but he is still not doing what is needed to make this team a contender.
He is convinced he can keep getting 3rd and 4th line players and win.
We a few he has gotten lucky, but we have 2 top 4 D
and maybe 3 top 6 forwards top 3 is a stretch.
He still really needs to go.

Yes, that game was a pleasure to watch. Domi and Drouin picked up 6 points combined. 2 Goals for Domi and one each for Drouin, Lehkonen and Gallagher. Hopefully they can build on last night and win the next few on the road, tomorrow in Ottawa and in Chicago on Sunday.

Another Great Game last night, Habs winning 5-2 and out shooting Sens 2-1.

Habs have won 3 out of 4 games played so far this month and have moved up to 1st Wild card Spot a point ahead of Boston.

Habs play Black hawks in Chicago Sunday night.

Leafs and Bruins meet tonight. I'll be cheering for the Leafs cause I want Habs to gain some points on Bruins, and I doubt Habs will catch up to the Leafs and Lightning. As long as they make the Playoffs, anything is possible. :FordSmile

Habs beat the Black Hawks 3-2 last night. They were lucky to win cause they had something like 8 penalties last night including a double minor. They were able to kill 7 out of 8 penalties. Price stole the game for them. Canadians are in Minnesota Tuesday night. Habs have won their last 3 in a row and Bruins their last 2. Bruins are a point ahead of the habs in the 1st Wild card Spot.

not sure if its just me but the 3-2 win was tight and relatively low scoring game.
Seems like a lot of high scoring games lately. nothing to see 7-1 or 6-5
Not the hockey of old. lol.

Kicked is an understatement. LolI watched the first period and Montreal never registered a shot in the first 6 minutes and they had 7. If the rest of the game went that way you can or fault Niemi that's for sure. But I never watched the complete game.

I watched 1st + ugly.
2nd was decent but not great,
never watched the 3rd which I would have to say
was worse than ugly lol.

Montreal is a fringe playoff team this year.
if they make it, is that good or bad, likely won't go far.
MB needs to stop thinking he is going to hit jackpot
with 3rd and 4th line players. he has already got lucky
not likely to continue. Time to give the team a real direction
or blow it up.

A Freudian slip here above Fred.
You used "Stars" to describe the Wild.
Good one.

Further up. I'm sorry the Bruins disappointed against the Leafs a few nights back. Not!

Go Bruins!
