Did you do the work yourself ?

The 2 litres of synthetic Ford gear lube and additive for Traction Loc axle was $97 alone. Gasket was $25, 3 hours labor at $72 per hour.

3 hours labour to drain, refill and put new rtv on the cover ? Wow ! ?????

Yep , will miss the trip this year for sure , the suspension was needed as front tires kept getting chewed up so replacing everything in the front was the only cure..( new ford racing lover control arms , Moog tie rods, ST coil overs, and MM CC plates feels good. But was planning on new LTH and Ford Racing Camshafts for Pete to dial in for me .. well there's always next year.. might have to come out if retirement to make some money first though ..

There was more to it than what you just described. They drained, inspected everything, cleaned everything, install new gasket as well as install fresh silicone where cap seals against axle, refilled then they test drove the car to ensure everything was good, I am satisfied with their thoroughness and they treat me right ?

I think I need them, i just really don't like the look of most if them with my hood.. I might look into this brand a bit more though ..

Nope.I had it done at Sonny's.Keep in mind this was two years ago and the fluid wasn't from Ford.

I forgot it was your seal and not your cover that was leaking . Glad they did a good job.. i cant stand it when people don't respect your ride when it's in the shop.. mechanics or service writers that leave greasy fingers all over you steering wheel, door handle, or no seat or floor protection and they get greasy !.. I'm a bit picky , i don't even use my impact gun to remove wheel lugs, breaker bar then low speed drill to back them off, too much damage can happen with premium lugs and custom rims ..?

Got car in for an alignment yesterday afternoon after some coilovers tweaks, car seems to drive a bit smoother than before, does not ride as rough over our far from perfect roads , so far pretty happy with the all new suspension , and new JLT cold air .

Ford additive but not Ford oil/grease.

I saw a few in Old Town muscle car show in March. Think the quick locks would be cleaner than the cabled hood locks on your car.

I was looking at them too . They have good reviews but loved the ol' school type one.. without the cables. Ordered those ..did not received them yet

Not sure if they are , but are really similar to the Shelby without the Shelby lettering. Ordered them from UPR product.com
