What did you do to your mustang today

When I picked the rear end lube up at Taylor Fords Parts Department, the guy that served me, Eddie, told me that his 2019 Mustang GT was in for Service at the Dealership as he has experienced an unexplained loss of power in his 5.0 Coyote, and he told me that a Customers 2019 BULLITT had its engine replaced there that had experienced lack of performance rather than tear it down and troubleshoot.

Marc, anything similar to what I just described at your Family’s Ford Dealership?

This is the first I have heard of this.

Maximum motorsport CC plates came in this morning so put them on , I'm impressed on how much adjustment there is in them ..very easy to install, just have to drive to Fredericton to pick up my plasma cutter from my brother so I can modify my strut brace to put back on

To each his own, I use it when it’s appropriate, and the AC and the 01 comes in handy on days like today when it is in the high 20s, low 30s ?

Sorry there Fred.
Wasn’t taking a jab at you.
Didn’t mean for it to be taken that way.

I was sharing my personal take on cruise.

I recognize that there are times where it would be appropriate but I consciously override those moments and decide that I want to be in control for myself.
Personal choice is all. ?

If mine had the power your 06 has I wouldn’t use Cruise Control either ?

Steeda brace?
Yah, you'll have to remove the two outboard holes and surrounding metal.
Should fit after that.
If you want a clean, unmolested look later, I still have my Ford Racing GT brace.
Fits like a glove and no evidence of having cut anything.

Had this pic in my phone from few years back.
Prior to JLT CAI and ported heads.

Interesting!
Actually no on Mustangs Fred.
Not yet anyway.
But a couple on F150’s.

This is one of the reasons I am a huge fan of the 3.5 Ecoboost on the F150.
I wrote about that on the F150 thread prior.

Not surprised in a way.
Ford is pushing the ecoboost way more than the 5.0 in F150.
More development invested and more purchase incentives for buyers.

In fact there was a $2000.00 incentive above anything else in April if one bought a sport F150 with either a 2.7 or 3.5 ecoboost.
No such incentive for 5.0.

I believe its a Stack Racing strut brace ..
I will trim it down for now , but i do like the black instead of chrome ..might hit you up for it

Yah, have not herd of it being a problem on modern cars.
A common practice with convertible owners when sun beating down on them.

Besides, only time compressor gets help is when one is re-circulating the cabin air.
When not re-circulating it can’t tell difference.
Window up or down.

Got car in for an alignment yesterday afternoon after some coilovers tweaks, car seems to drive a bit smoother than before, does not ride as rough over our far from perfect roads , so far pretty happy with the all new suspension , and new JLT cold air .

Just missing the run to Pete's to finish it all off, Al.

Looking good!

Got my BULLITT back from the Shop this afternoon, stain in driveway was caused by leaking main rear seal where driveshaft meets axle, so new gasket, drained out old lube, inspected ring and pinion no shavings, gave everything a Good cleaning, they installed new silicone and refilled so now good as new. ?

Yep , will miss the trip this year for sure , the suspension was needed as front tires kept getting chewed up so replacing everything in the front was the only cure..( new ford racing lover control arms , Moog tie rods, ST coil overs, and MM CC plates feels good. But was planning on new LTH and Ford Racing Camshafts for Pete to dial in for me .. well there's always next year.. might have to come out if retirement to make some money first though ..
