If I had to replace gears due to a failure in the original set, 3:73s with a 5 speed would be enough gear, but if you have never been behind the wheel of an 01 BULLITT you would appreciate that the 3:23s get the job done. The car pulls hard ?

3:73's work well in the automatic.3:23's were sluggish.With high test gas and a tune from the SCT tuner I find it has loads of power.Maybe an exhaust change in the future but that's about it.

The Factory exhaust on the BULLITT is loud enough for me, any louder would require sound deadening.

The car is 19 years old now, and I plan on driving it for another 20, 25 years. I’ll take it up to 4, 5 thousand rpms every once in a while but operating at 2,000 rpms on long cruises is definitely better for engine like than at higher rpms. I don’t race mine, and it is already fast enough to lose your license in. In last 2 weekends on runs we met 2 police cars in our travels, I was the lead car, doing speed limit ?

I enjoy doing 5 km/hr over the limit in town and 14 km/hr over on the highway.

In Town at 50 KPH mine revs at 2,000 RPMS in 3rd and you never know when someone may run a red light or back out of a Driveway, so I’ll maintain speed limit or lower depending on traffic. On Highway, I’ll set Cruise for 10 over ?

I never, ever use cruise on any vehicle.
I think it’s the first step to autonomous driving.
The first step to disconnect.
In my mind, kind of a sacrilege.

I enjoy any driving so much that I want to control all aspects of the activity.
It keeps me engaged mentally.
I feel I’m more focused if no cruise.

The Granada most likely had Fords 7.5 inch axle, mine has the 8:8 ?
