Shelby GT350R

the rest what?
If you mean other consumables.
Brake pads are still better than half.
Like change them and fluid this winter.
Rotors are very good still.
I changed the oil already three times, but thats me.
will do 4th likely this fall.

Looks like tomorrow is a go at AMP. Will spend a couple hours going over everything
on the car. Also check lug nut torq. Change tire pressures and all fluids.
I bought a heat measuring gun, going to see if we can check tire temps.

Have to do the same sometime today. Charge the GoPro and load up.

Yes I have to charge go pro and drone batteries, as much prep time for gadgets as for car LOL
oh ya and phone and I pad also, Need communications truck for all of this stuff:rolleyes:

Got car & truck loaded for tomorrow, Was at helimech giving hime the 10 minute drone flying lesson LOL.
I will get some video when he is on the track, and he will do same when I am on track.
We will have eye in the sky. plus go pros, hopefully get some distance footage for here.

His deck is looking good, more progress made today, I think he was doing prep on
his car tonight. Should be fun day, for those who never done anything like this, its
a blast and learning experience to increase your everyday driving ability.

Have a good day tomorrow. Sounds like it would be fun. Hopefully you do not get too angry. Why does it make you angry if it is fun? Haha

Good on you Trevor for resisting that supercharger that Fred suggested.
The 350, in any form, is and was designed to be a track car. It's packing all the punch and RPM's it needs for that purpose.
Other cars can benefit from forced induction but not a track specific car like that.

Well got home, unloaded and cleaned up. A bit of work done for tomorrow.
Had issues today with electronic gadgets not working well, so not sure yet
what I got, but will fool with that and post next day or two.
Were not aloud to fly drone during sessions, so only got one video off of that.
Lunch time did a fly around, will post that also.

Helimech, being electronic wiz, likely already has stuff posted LOL.

This could be a simple mod for GT350 with Bang for the Buck.

New from Kooks Headers – a stainless steel exhaust system for the 2016 Shelby GT350. This system can add up to 30 rear-wheel horsepower and 35 lb-ft of torque, and is handmade right here in the U.S. See more details below.
Official Release:
Kooks Headers and Exhaust announced the release of a new stainless steel exhaust system for the 2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350… and the numbers are nothing short of impressive.
The system can add a stunning 30-plus rear-wheel horsepower and 35-plus foot pounds of torque, making it easily one of the top performing aftermarket exhaust systems available. Kooks fans have come to expect superior quality and unsurpassed value, and this new Shelby GT350 kit does not disappoint.
So what’s all the buzz about?
Kooks’ new Shelby GT350 system features unique step primaries specially designed to maximize horsepower and torque. It’s complemented by your choice of GREENCATS, Tuner Catalyst and non Catalyst pipes. A Shelby specific X-pipe and Catback system complete the package. And like everything that comes from Kooks, the complete stainless steel exhaust system for the 2016+ Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 was handmade in America with the highest attention to quality. So you know it comes with Kooks’ famous limited lifetime warranty.
Features:
  • Adds up to 30 rear-wheel horsepower and 35 lb-ft of torque
  • Unique step primaries specially designed to maximize horsepower and torque
  • Handmade in America with the highest attention to quality

First off this does not interest me one bit for several reasons.
The sound of my car is incredible right out of the box. Several have done the
kooks headers already, some with great success some had issues.
It would also void engine warranty, with a new design such as the 5.2 Flat plane
crank engine, not interested in voiding the warranty.
2nd, anyone who has been in the car does not feel it is lacking with its
526 HP, considering its a track focused car and not a drag car, monster HP is not the end goal.
Ford has announced a track Key, this I am sure unlocks more from the car.
This would interest me as it would not void all of the cars warranty.
