NHL 2021

Sports net has on many of its stories,
I thought they had an article on Leafs and Habs,
next 3 games, I was wrong it was about Leafs
( why I am I not surprized lol)

Now not thinking I click on comments and start reading,
now we all know Leafs are a different bunch, elevator not going all the way up
But I have to say, they have a good team and it makes them even crazier if possible,
few comments,
" why do they have to play anyone in the north, they should have a bye"
" They are winning the cup, #1 team in league all year" They are not now for the record.
"No one is beating them in north, they could play Spezza and thorton 1st line and win"
" Spezza is better than Josh ANderson, caulfield, Weber, and Suzikii combined"

Now this 4 of about 400 and many were close to same, might have been 1 or 2 of the
30 I read that tried to say something intelligent and they get beat up by thier on fans LOL
Special bunch for sure, God Help Toronto if they lose in the first round,
will look like black friday on wall street :ROFLMAO:
 
I realize how the leafs won the North so easy,
they get away with about 10-15 calls a night more than other team.
Refs are bad for ever game but you would swear they were on Leafs payroll.

TSN has an article comparing McDavid and Mathews to Super Mario.
Both these guys are impressive in 2021, real close to Marios % numbers back in the day.
Even though within 25 years, still not the same, imgine Mario not getting hacked, slashed and grabbed
what his numbers would look like :oops:
 
So I have to ask, I am sure by now if you have not seen you heard of
Tom Wilson's lastest escapades. So what are your thoughts on it?
SHould have he been suspended or just hard hockey?
 
Ya he needs a good tuning up, hes skilled, big, strong, all good things,
but he is also nuts, which causes crap like this, it will go until he ends someones career
and then he will be done, sad it will take this for someone to realize.
 
Ok so Montreal played like crap and got embarrassed by Ottawa.
I suspect this is Montreals make up, some changes are needed,
I thought Descharme might be a good fit with young guys, but he is in
way over his head. MB needs to go. Montreal has some real good pieces
they need someone to make the moves needed and a coach who can handle
veterans with youth mix.
 
Well its been awhile, but nasty day.
Montreal playing like crap, refs who need to learn thier job.
So to help keep be calmer during game, I am going to drink.
May not change results, but might help keep my blood pressure lower :)
 
Regular season is almost done, Playoffs start Saturday.
Final 16 are set, anyone wish to predict first round and beyond?

Montreal is in tight I think, so many what if's
Price? does a little rest and few good practices help?
Injured players back? etc. WHen they play they can win,
problem is, to say they were inconsistent would be an
understatement. Hopefully great playoffs and fun to watch GHG.
