Looks like Bruins and Caps tonight. Montreal and Toronto don't play until Thursday?? That is some strange schedual. Some teams will have 2 maybe 3 games in before some play their first.

ya like the old days, if early teams win in 4 and late teams take 7
could see over a week with team sitting, makes for long playoffs
and some strange situations.

Good first period Bruins Caps tied 1-1 after 1
FIrst few games in the books and some great games to watch.
No easy wins, several in OT. Missed last nights Tampa - Panthers game.
Scoring, hitting and nasty right for puck drop, likely going to be tough series.
All the Pundits gave minnie no chance, but got first win.
Also saying Montreal, Nashville and St Loius are done before they start.
I suspect there will be an upset or two before fist round is done,
lets see who it is

Ok, so Descharme announced today,
sitting KK, Caulfield and Romanov.
Now I know KK has struggled, Caulfield has next to no experience
and Romanvo is a a rookie D, going to make mistakes.
But if anyone can convince me that Stal ( slower than molasses in January)
Merill, and or any other 5th line that is that slow is the solution, then I guess I am seeing it all wrong.
They were built on youth and speed and now build on old and slow, lets look at record since this change
they made in last several months. Not good and could be outright ugly.
Toronto is a good team with some solid talent ( all jokes a side)

yes coach please slow us down, that should help NOT.
I fear this could get ugly quick.
Maybe A bad playoff will get MB fired ( don't hold your breath)
And go find some folks who know how to build and coach a team.

could see Habs make a real challenge, I am having less faith in the plan.

Hockey night in Canada, Sportsnet and TSN are all the same, hard to listen to. So Bias,
sad they can't do a decent job, you sell yourself out to please owners.

47 said won't win a game, 3 said they will win one. Sadly Leafs fans won the cup last week
