You have good batteries in your crystal ball.
That's exactly how it played out.
Booo'ed at every opportunity and ugly loss.

Meanwhile, how about them Bruins?
Dispatched San Jose Tuesday, and Lightning tonight. :)

Was blacked out here, but read about it :) New York fans can be tough.
Upside is Bruins and leafs should meet in first round, so one of
my two most hated teams will be out LOL.

Never watched the game but saw the replay of the tribute they did for him. Some classless fans out there wow. So disrespectful to boo a tribute.

So Ottawa fires head coach, wow they lose and trade all there best players,
then blame the coach, dysfunctional would be an understatement.
New arena deals is gone with Melnyk in the middle of that dispute.
Sad state this team and franchise is in.

I think Bettman will try and pull the franchise and head for the US. Be interesting to see. With the likes of Florida and Arizona he's gone to bat for them but his track record is not having much love for Canada. Should be interesting because that franchise is starting to hit some hard times.

If Ottawa gets pulled, it would be Quebecs only shot at another franchise.
Considering what he has done in Arizona I would be surprised to see much
happen and it would take some time.

If Florida or Arizona every get moved I see Houston up next.

Quebec has a Move in ready NHL built Arena, and they would fill all 19,000 Seats every game. Would make sense, and they wouldn't t need NHL Welfare, like half of the Teams in the Southern States.;

I would be surprised if they lost the franchise, Based on Bettmans track record
it would take a lot more than what has happened. Ottawa fans need someone to
make a ridiculous offer and maybe Melync takes it. Sad state of affairs for sure.

Toronto looked horrible in Long Island, not a good night for tavares

Boston ended tampa's 10 game winning streak,

On to better topics, Habs and Rangers, they really need the 2 points GHG
Going to be a horse race to the playoffs now.

And the way Lehkonen was rushing their net it is only a matter of time before he gets a few behind the Goalie. Even with 4 goals last night, Price won the game for them.

Penguins lost in OT to Sabres last night and are 2 points out of Wild Card. With a Habs Win tonight, they will be 4 points out. :FordSmile

Habs were no match for Crosby and his Penguins losing 5-1. They are in last Wild card spot only 2 points ahead of Columbus, and they are out West playing Kings Tuesday, Sharks Wednesday and Ducks Friday, not a good history there.

Yeah it wasn't pretty. They had a pretty big hole to dig out of after a sloppy start.

Historically Montréal always seems to struggle on the western road trips. Hopefully this one is different.

Yes, especially since LA isn't the Team they were.

A huge 3-1 win last night for the Montreal Canadians in LA. It was a very important start for the Habs on the road in this tight race. Never watched the game as it was too late. Julien scratched KK for some rest and started Weal in his place for his first game as a Hab. He scored the game winner. I do hope he keeps him in the lineup but brings KK back as je has been playing some awesome hockey.

Sharks Thursday, Ducks Friday, the back home against Red Wings next Tuesday. Keep Price in Net next 2 games, then put Niemi in against Red Wings. If Habs can't beat Wings at home, there's a problem. GHG !
