2016-17 NHL hockey season.

Ya the new system does not make since. Trying to get equal representation
from divisons. I prefer 1-8 or even 1-16 league wide.

Even more important, I like the playoffs being 1-16
that way any team can play any team and gives the best odds
of the top two teams meeting in stanly playoffs. Screw travel.
don't like it, sell your franchise or take up different sport.

Pittsburgh have knocked the Canadians out of first place. Penguins are in 1st with 43 Points, and 30 games played. They have won their last 7 games Habs in 2nd with 42 Points and 29 games played Chicago in 3rd, 42 Points and 31 games played Rangers in 4th with 41 Points and 31 games played Flyers in 5th with 41 Points and 32 games played. Philadelphia has won their last 10 games, Outstanding !

Sharks in Montreal to play Habs tonight, Statistically, Western Team that arrive in Montreal the day before the game like San Jose did yesterday have not fared well . Hopefully the trend continues. Montreal's Smoked Meat and Peeler Bars are slowing them down. :FordSmile

I had to use TSN updates, normally they play it live on News 95.7
But they broadcast the Mooseheads game last night.
Maybe I need to get rogers Game centre live and could watch it on
my I pad, while working :)

Minnesota is in town tonight, to face the habs.
They are one of the hottest teams in the NHL at the moment.
Should be a tough battle and good game.

Wild beat the Habs 4-2. Last goal was an empty netter.

Leafs shut out the Avalanche 6-0.

Columbus blasted the Penguins 7-1 winning their 11th straight

Ottawa beat Anaheim 2-1

and Winnipeg beat the Canucks 4-1.

Only 2 points separate 1st through 5th in League Standings.

Columbus in 1st with 48 oints

Montreal in 5th with 46 Points

Habs lost 4-2, I had to listen to it on radio, sounds like Habs played well enough.
Coaches loyalty cost Montreal this game. Going with his guys in key moments,
instead of guys with the hot hand. IMO. Next up CBJ
They beat Pittsburg 7-1 last night, hopefully Montreal has strong game.
