What did you do to your mustang today

Instead of my breather, i now have an Oil Catch Can for the differential oil. If you could sneak under my car now, the right side of the axle is absolutely coated with oil, that's what happen when you shake it in an autocross course lol ? :ROFLMAO:
Next spring i'll get back in touch with my mechanic to schedule the installation of my 3.73 and Watts link, i am sure he'll tell me it was missing half of the oil that should have been in there in the first place lol ? Happy I finally put the oil catch can haha.
Haha. I was reading up on those. Highly recommended for autocross or racing.

So I finally got back to finishing the car and getting the lower control arms finished up. As I expected I had no choice but to remove the cat back to get to 2 of the lower control arm bolts. That was a pain to get off by myself. Thanks Gerry for the marker trick. Mad it much easier to line up when assembling. They are on now. Just need to button up a few things today.

Had to move the Mustang for some Jetta maintenance, so took the cover off - what a pile of dust on the car! Looks like a new, better quality cover is on the wish list for next year! A quick dust off and back inside she goes. It was nice to hear it run even for a few minutes. How many days until spring?

Did a project in the garage on the weekend so decided to start my Mustang, let it run for about 10 minutes, conditioned the seats and dash with 303 and rolled the tires to eliminate flat spots ..
Project was all new suspension on a Taco..all 4 bilstein 5160 shocks, rear add a leaf, and front springs . What a difference. Gave a nice 3" lift and handles so much better with a nice firm feel..the kid was super happy when he saw it

So I was looking into led lighting for my interior bulbs to modernize it a bit. So went to Amazon and invested $20 on some led bulbs. Changed the 5 bulbs in the gauge cluster, 2 in the HVAC unit, 2 in the mirror, 2 licence plate and the trunk light. Impressed with the brighter modernized look it brought to it. In one of the pictures you will see I only changed the one mirror bulb and you can see the difference.

Anything that obstructs or hides your licence plate is a free pass to get pulled over just because. The law is pretty clear, no pun intended, that the plate must be free of obstructions or not altered in any way. I'm not sure why guys even bother trying.

In a strange twist of whats legal, its legal to buy a tinted or smoked plate cover, but its illegal to use it. lol

LED's look good, might have to consider getting some.

Considered posting a new thread for this, but ended up here. I've been contemplating a resonator delete X pipe to get some "R" in my car for some time. I wish Ford Performance would just give it up and make the resonator delete used on the GT350R available, but the hasn't happened to my knowledge, so I'm looking aftermarket.

Got down to MBRP vs Corsa.

CJ Pony Parts videos were a great resource, with like for like installation video and comparison shots, right down to driving on the same road. lol

Here's what I got so far :

MBRP is less expensive at around $400 or so, and is made of 409 stainless.
Not that I'm going to be installing it, but its a little bit more work, as the heat shield needs to be removed.
Fast forward to around 4:25 for the after comparison.

Corsa is about twice the price, but is twice the size, as its a double x-pipe, and made of 304 stainless, so slightly better grade.
Simpler installation, the cut is back past the heat shield, closer to the mufflers.
Fast forward to 4:25 again for the after comparison.

There's slight differences between the two, but I'm leaning toward the Corsa.

I'm interested in opinions, because as we all know, exhaust is incredibly subjective.
