Road to buidling a 1990 Foxbody LX

I don’t know the Fox exhausts.
But I know the Coyote sounds great with Borla, FP by Borla and Roush also made by Borla I believe but louder than the other two.

So, if you can find Fox stuff made by Borla, it would be safe bet.
Probably ATAK level with this build.

I think Fox stuff was mostly Flowmaster and such.
If nothing in Borla for Fox, you’ll have to see if you can get clips of Flowmaster on a Coyote. Or similar.

Whatever is out there for Fox was designed with and for the old 302.
Will sound different on a Coyote.

Good luck.

So looks like I am going to need a hood,
I have 3 choices I can live with, as I wanted to stay stock.
so give me your choice, 1-2 or 3?

I need an inch to fit over engine, as far as I can tell all of these will work,
what you all think?

# 1 cowl induction style hood, cold air kit at front of engine so no benefit there. fighting high pressure area of the cowl = low heat extraction. Everyone thinks you have something under there and every other fox body has one.
# 2 ram air style, no real intake air or heat extraction benefit. probably third most popular hood after #1 and stock.
# 3 heat extraction style, less air under car equals downforce and better cooling, lower profile, stealthy, different.
For me it's a hard call between 1 and 3...

Not much done last few, with priority on work.
Interior final done and have back. Shops a disaster,
hoping to spend a few hours Sunday, tidying up.

I found new body guy, so hopefully week of june 7th
goes for first round of goodies, I need a few new pics :)
Still some stuff to order, need to find time to do searching.
hoping to have everything required in stock by fall :)
