Mustang Trivia.

The latest Generation Mustang comes with the V6 as base engine, then the mid performance option between the 6 and the 8 is a 2.3 Liter Eco Boost 4 banger. 2015 to present.
 
you got it, the 2015,16 and 17 have a 4cyl 2.3 turbo.
Bit of a trick qustion, most were thinking only older.

Prior to the Generation 6, Mustang, 2015 to Present, what Generation Mustang was the only other Mustang sold in Australia and in which model years ?
 
Eco Boost means turbo charging in "All" applications at Ford.
Not supercharging.
There are no supercharged applications in any other current Ford products.
Everything is turbo, Lincoln included.
Last supercharged application was 2014 GT 500 done by SVT.
 
I picked a good one I guess, I'll give a hint, they were only sold in 2 consecutive model years there during that particular Generation.
 
And the Answer is ........

Generation 4, New Edge, 2001 and 2002.

The exorbitant cost to convert the cars to right hand drive resulted in a limited 2 year run.
 
What year had the lowest sales numbers for the Mustang previous to the major model change in 2005?
