Couple of paint schemes from the first ever NASCAR race I went to..... the 2000 Daytona 500.

Had been a fan since the early 90's, but 2000 was the first race I attended in person.

I was disappointed that Gordon wasn't running the iconic Rainbow Warriors paint scheme.

To this day though, Earnhardt's Taz paint scheme is one of my favourites.

The 2001 race still seems like it was yesterday, always a mixed feeling when February comes round.

Been a while, found these in the dump bins at Walmart, readily available.

I like "The 80's" series, will be looking for the others, re-color on the SVO and Thunderbird, and the Cosworth as well.

And a couple of older releases from Passion Diecast...

Despite the cries of digging into the bottom of the bin, ;), I found this complete series on the pegs, so I grabbed it.

Even if it is Corvettes. lol

I was a little puzzled about why Hot Wheels didn't do one car from each generation, they overlooked the 70's and early 80's generations, although "The 80's" series has an '84 I believe.

Either way, cool set, the '64 and the '69 are really well done.

talk about things that should be bottom of bin 🤪

Couple of random Matchbox finds, must have been at the right place at the right time, I don't think these would last long on the pegs.

Love the AMC Eagle, I actually got to drive a two door hatch for a coupe of days back in the mid 80's, belonged to a co-worker of my sisters who went on vacation and was crazy enough to throw me the keys and let me drive it. I returned it in one piece, and it beat walking. lol

The other three are a little different, apparently Matchbox celebrates 70 years, so they've got some specials out there.

Not bad for $1.50 each, and hey,...... I can now say I have a Mach-E and two Lightnings. Look at me saving the planet.:p

cool and your not buring any fossil fuels with these cars and trucks 🤪

Picked up a second Ranchero for a friend of mine and noticed there were two different wheels, every once and a while you'll find what they call a "variant"....... I'm sure they just ran out of five spokes and threw on something else, but it was interesting to see one looks like a five spoke, and the other more like a dog dish hubcap. I wasn't specifically looking to find this, I just found the Ranchero and grabbed it for a friend.

The Hot Wheels '32 Ford from last year had a variant as well...

New offering from Passion Diecast in my mailbox.

Much like Vintage Ad Cars, I like getting into this series from the first release, plus it's a bonus having been to Woodward on several occasions for the Dream Cruise, which prompted me to put in the order.

Series #1 is heavily biased toward GM, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I like the GTO and Chevelle.
