Snowmobiles were still out on the trails up here yesterday.

April snow is not uncommon in our region.
Unpopular for sure, but not uncommon.

I am upset enough salt went donw monday, might take 2-3 rains to wash off.
Firday 10-15 mm I hope, but don't think enough.

Streets clear around Moncton, had the Suzuki out today.

Rain last night, put a good dent in HRM washing away the salt.
More rain tomorrow should get rid of the rest ( I am hoping)
Maybe with a bit more this week, might get a spin in next weekend.

I want rain to wash roads, I don't want rain as we are starting work
next week, earliest start in last 10 years.
We finally got hit with major increases, barrel of oil costs, driving
up our costs. Going to be a crazy year.

Shitty day, but on positive note, raining pretty good,
should help wash the final slat off roads.
I suspect tomorrow city should be fine,
will have to take a look at county before
any serious drives are taken.

So yesterday and this morning I was thinking, maybe be able to get the Mustang out very soon……. Then this evening it has snowed heavily for most of the evening, enough to cover the lawn and deck.

Typical April weekend in Eastern Newfoundland - had all 4 season yesterday -fog and rain in the morning ,Sun for 10 minutes in the afternoon , then freezing rain/snow before 10pm !

That’s a poster for climate change.
More irregular and severe weather events.

Not just higher temperatures in the sense that we won’t get snow or ice anymore and the rest will stay the same.

Instead it’s more like weather turned upside down, upset about it, and throwing tantrum storms when and where they normally should not be.
