Crazy Weather events in your area

The farmers report that we received over 2.5 inches yesterday. ?
St-John river flowing brown today.

Potato harvesting has ground to a halt for a couple days to let that ring itself out a bit. But with cooler temps, longer shadows and forecasted frost and -5 in low lying areas tomorrow night, there is not much drying going on anymore. ☹️

Example of what affect 20 km of north longitude and about 100 feet of altitude can have on amount of snow from same system at same temperature.

Both photos taken this morning.
No 1 at my house.
No 2 in Grand Falls.

You've all probably seen on the news recently, just how crazy we've had it in BC, with flooding, road wash outs, etc. Many areas are running out of food, gas, clean drinking water, etc. On the Island where I live, we are only allowed to purchase 30 liters of gas at a time. Meat shelves in the grocery stores are nearly empty, along with other items such as eggs and dairy.
According to todays news, we are to expect another "atmospheric river", as they call it. More heavy rain, and snow in some areas.. Just a few weeks ago we experienced what was called, a "weather bomb". Crazy winds and heavy rains.

Hope things take a turn for the better soon for the whole province.
Positive thoughts for all of BC everyday since this started.

With in-laws in Comox and friends in North Van, White Rock and Port Moody.
Can’t believe the sights from Abbotsford, Merritt and the Coqu.

Drove all those routes almost weekly in winter back in late 80’s to get to skiing events.
Hard to imagine the carnage on the Coquahalla.
That highway was a marvel of engineering when it first opened.
☹️☹️☹️
