Crazy Weather events in your area

No rain here on the East Coast of Vancouver Island since June 15th. A solid month without a drop. Water levels in lakes and streams have dropped to the point where fisheries is concerned about juvenile salmon survival. The unprecedented heat wave, with temps on the Island reaching 40+ for several days in a row, is putting our forests at risk. It's one big tinderbox. Warmer temps, and no rain in the forecast for at least the next 10 days.
Being totally dependent on a shallow well for all our fresh water needs, this isn't a great situation. :confused:
 
Gonna be another hot one today! Make sure you've got plenty of water and take lots of breaks in the shade. Pic for recommended public health measures during heat advisories...
