Local dealer was telling me Trevor that they tried quite hard to get yours from your dealer before you secured it. They have a serious buyer lined up so they are now trying for a '17. This buyer has a nice collection of Mustangs, Shelby's and a Viper plus other stuff that I would not know about so we may end up seeing another R in the Maritimes soon ??
From what I understand, there was to be only one this year, unless it came from elsewhere.
That said, rumour has it, Al wanted one and they might have found it, if so it will go into his collection
and likely no one will see it anyway. Otherwise as it stands they are getting one 17. This car
can not be sold, AL has had over 20 requests from several buyers, many friends, not sure how he plans to deal with it.
I know of one out west if he is willing to pay $40,000 over LOL.
Except for a few in the inner circle, no one knows if Ford will extend the GT350 build beyond 2017.
As said on a few other forums the R is a unicorn and finding will be difficult and with that expect to pay
a heavy ADM.
I knew the car was going to be special, I had no idea when I bought it, how rare it could be
Bonus, my plan is the same, drive it and enjoy, speaking of which, off for a drive
