2024 Race season

Lando finishing nearly 23 secs ahead of Max has certainly laid down a challenge.
Some good racing lower down the field as well at times.

I did love that one bit where there were about 5 cars all overtaking together!

Italian " Monza" F-1 weekend getting underway, I am not 100% sure, but I don't think this is where the safety car is suppose to park

Was a great race, something going on every lap.
Great win by Ferrari at Monza, to send the tofisi into frenzy.

Intersting days at Maclaren, with piastri move on first lap.
Which put Lando out of place and allowed Leclerc to pass also.
I am quite Sure Piastri doesn't give a crap about Landos championship battle.
but should be fun to watch how Maclaren deals with
what most would say is 2, number 1 drivers :)

Interesting Qualifying today, Leclerc gets anoth Pole,
pistri 2nd Sainz 3 Perez in 4th with Max in 6
russel in 5th with Hamilton in 7th

Lando gets held up by yellow in Q1 and only starts 17th
at a fast street stle circuit that is hard to over take.

I will be at the track, but this is going to be a great race to watch.

Wow that was quite some end to the race. All kudos to Piastri holding Leclerc at bay for numerous laps.
And then Perez and Sainz taking each other out just before the end, wow.

I haven't heard yet what the results of the investigation on the Perez/Sainz incident. It looked to me like Sainz was totally at fault. I wondered if he was protecting Leclerc, or simply had a brain fart...?

One of the better races this season. Amazed there wasn't more safety car laps, as that narrow track can be nasty.

I beleive the stewarts basically called it a racing incident
so no repercussions.

Just seen that the FIA have made a last minute change to add a fourth DRS zone to the Singapore circuit, over the three it has previously had. Going to add a whole load of overtaking opportunities.

I think DRS should not have a zone, if your are under 1 second to car in front you
get DRS, managing your battery to use it is all that would be needed.

Amazed that the Singapore event remained completely crash free. Not even a VSC (virtual safety car). Not the most exciting race to watch, although there were a few skirmish's among mid-pack cars, no real challenges for the lead.
