2024 Race season

Totally, so many of these new style tracks with wide paved shoulders are just bland.
Give me an old school track with gravel traps, proper changes in elevation, and character any day.
more cars survive this when off, but I agree, make the drivers stay on the track,
if going off is costly then drivers drive better.

I also think there should not be DRS zones, I think should be able to save the battery power
based on good driving habits and use it where ever they can to pass.

Was a fun race to watch, MAx tried a little Nascar driving forst few laps,
didn't work out so good for him,

Ferrara wins and 3rd again with Norris taking 2nd, gains a bit on Max

Sau Paulo up next this weekend.

I enjoyed the race. Saw Max was up to his tricks again, but I guess the FIA wasn't going to go for it this time.
20 seconds in penalties still didn't deter him much, he still finished better than I thought he would.
Good for Sainz winning again. Ferrari better pray Hamilton does well for the team next year, or they will regret letting Sainz go.

ya with the Max penalty it gets interesting, because on one weekend or depending what and where
no penalty, do it one too many times and we will show you doesn't really fly.
I think they need to set it straight, allow this or not and let drivers figure it out,
need rules but to many not good either. At back of race some cars were going full nascar with no penalties lol

I think Lewis is landing at right time, Ferrari on up swing,
I suspect lewis still has enough skill, you do see him lose a bit of interest if car is way off,
but if he gets a sniff, he is still bloody quick as the English would say.

Lewis had a bit of a time getting around Russel, considering he had the newer improved car. I sure hope Lewis hasn't lost his edge, because he's so incredibly good when he's on his game, it's a pleasure to watch. It may well be that he has given up on Mercedes, and has his sights set higher.

We will see if he gets on with the car and the team……. With his personality it may come down to that.

Agree it’s about time the rules were equally enforced across the field, either harshly or leniently.

Entertaining race, lots of battles.

Bring on the next one!

ya I guess Charles swore at Mexico GP and it was not good,
not a word said, you gotta wonder if the FIA can be fair and non bias
MOst of us and drivers want consistency, give them that they will figure it out

I wanna see hard clean racing, if your going to punish someone for something,
make it the same for everyone, fighting for 1st or 12th shouldn't matter

they are Sao Paulo, should be an amzing weekend, practice starts tomorrow
Hamilton is going to do a lap in sennas championship winning MP4
that would be cool to see,
can't wait to watch this weekend.

Marclaren front row for sprint race, were very quick,
seems everyone else had some level of issues,
funny how the cars this year are different from track to track
and as good as F-1 engineers are most are struggle to get consistently better.
Some back to old set ups and not using the upgrades to find what works
Should be fun weekend to watch.

I would say Pistri was not happy letting Lando by, I suspect it would be hard to do.
I think some stuff will happen yet before season is over.

Qualifying rained out, SSunday morning in the rain, and looks like wet race that could shake up the field.
This year and being close to the end, lots of story lines rain, could make it even more interesting.

That was quite some qualifying with Lando only just getting out of Q1, both Red Bulls and Sainz out in Q2, and red flags and crashed cars all over the place.

The question is whether those crashed cars can be repaired in time for the race......
