thought it was a good time to start this thread.

Hamilton to leave Mercedes and head to Ferrari at end of 2024

Is worth over $ 400 million
With deal after racing in place
Now here’s the fun part
After signing Hamilton
Ferrari stock rose so high
They made 10 billion 😳

Mercedes stock dropped
Based on stock rise $400 million
Is a deal, crazy how racing world values
Drivers.
Also Ferrari suppliers lining up to sign Hamilton to personal contracts so he will make insanely more in endorsements as well

You think it was updated anywhere??
Had to wait till 5pm and scroll channels to find, only on fox and one Canada TSN

Most sports can been seen on multiple
Stations and streamed in dozens of other places

Even F-1 I can watch in dozens of places including their own channel
 
F-1 first day of testing in Bahrain
Red bull ran without issues
Most laps 143 1.3 seconds ahead of rest
Rest all looked good closer to each other

Today was more about running through system checks and data logging to see if everything they designed works good

More testing tomorrow and Friday
Expect to see more and time. Might be a little more relevant Friday, but first race Bahrain next week, we will see next week if any gains made

But I love this time of year
 
Nascar is running the bumper car 400 today at Atlanta,
I decided not to watch as good racing will go on till lap 392
then some idiot will cause 2-3 or 4 crashes to eliminate
winning threats with hope to go on to win,
so I will read results tomorrow instead of wasting 4 hours of my
day watching bumer cars.
 
F-1 is done pre-season testing in Bahrain,
with opening race this week at same track.
due to religious holiday,
free practice is Thursday, qualifying on Friday and the
race on Saturday.

Lookss like Red bull is still team to beat,
but best of the rest could be closer and tighter than last year
hopefully producing some good racing.

Lots of drama to go along, with driver silly season being extraordinary quiet
last year, with Hamilton move to Ferrari next year its in full swing already.

then Horner being accused of no one knows exactly what, investigation
making more headlines, should be fun start to year.

Oh and no bumper cars aloud here, atleast without penatlity for stupidity :)
 
Just read on Road and Track that Red Bull has dismissed the allegations against Christian Horner.

The article headline reads:

Red Bull says that the claims against Horner have been dismissed, but adds that "the investigation report is confidential" and will not share anything else.

Well the nosie is back, someone released 79 photos and 100's of message on whats up app
and sent to somewhere between 100 and 200 folks in or around F-1
unconfirmed source, but looks like it could be some or all of what horner did,

this is going to get Ugly, as F-1 is all over world news, but not for a good reason.


mean time F-1 does hold race weekends too and not just for this crap.
