2024 Race season

So I snuck home and caught q-2 and q-3 of qualifying today,
Verstappin is still class of field, but folks do look closer and the field
its self is a hell of a lot closer to each other, its to bad redbull is still that far ahead,
because it would the closest F-1 has been in decades, the race for 2nd
should be amazing. 5 temas and 9 other cars could be on podium

I am acutally excited to see race tommorow
TSN 9:55 eastern, so if my math is right 10:55 atlantic.

Now I need to get my shot done eealry to get home :)
 
Pretty Much, red bull is so far ahead, race will not be for first,

was interesting to see next 4 and how close they could be in coming races.

we only have a week to wait, lets so who can tweak what now they have some real data.
 
MIssed race today, due to getting ready for get together.
Looks like I didn't miss much and 90%of the talkis about drama around anything but racing:(

Redbull îs class of firld again, Ferrari is close, Alonso can race,
Maclaren and Mercedes just no where near enough of car and by time they figure out if they
do will be too late.

If max can have few more Dnf’s be a lot better
I dont think Alonso should have gotten a penalty I can imagine the nascar fans heads exploding lol

Looking like Lewis made right decision about Ferrari bet he wished he did last year
 
Nascar, Hamlin and one of the track owners, who owns 10 nascar tracks,
go to war on twitter as Nascar and drivers association are at war over money,
millionairs fighting billionaires tough life.


F-1 Suzuka, alway entertains with high speed track and super fast turns
but hard to overtake, Max will be gone unless something bad happens no one is catching him
but 2nd through 10th could be fun to watch, problme is, its Japan

Hamilton to Ferrari has drivers silly season in full swing 5 races in

Horner scandal won't go away and now the most recognized designer in the history of the sport
has resigned from Redbull, expect plenty to follow,

racing is good past 1 st place, but everything is crazy fun to watch and read,
in the high pressure of F-1
 
and the hits keep coming, it is official
Adrian Newy, the most decorated car designer
basically since 1988 when he joined F-1 is leaving redbull
not sure how he pulled it off, but hes aloud to go to another team
as early as 2025, he will no longer be directly involved with the F-1 car,
but will finish his work on Redbulls first super car before going,

Horners personal life and drama are now having a direct affect on the team
be interesting to see how many other high end people will leave redbull this year.

If thats not enough fun for one day, the US congress has directly reached out to the FOM group
that rejected Andretti Globals bid to enter F-1 and want thier first response by May 3rd,
20 Senartors are involed, claiming Anti turst laws may be broken in the US
giving European teams and manufactures an advantage in the US.

Considering there is now 3 races in the US and they want another one,
they huge growing Market in the US, and FOM is a US based company,
this is going to get interesting very fast, these folks don't like anwsering to anyone
and US senators in congress don't like being played with,
going to be fun seeing how this plays out,

I am betting Andretti and GM get entry for 2026 :)
hold on to your chicken bar, lots happening in the high powered world of F-1
Racing is almost #2 this year.

can you imagine if congress says, well no andretti, no F-1 in US after
making 1.5 billion off vegas alone last year lol,
and they only gave them till friday to respond,
also said today that they could be called to congress to testify
if they want more answers,

this is actually fun to watch, I believe FOM didnt want to share pot,
Andretti with GM and thier bid is hard to accept they didn't get in,
but saying 2026 or 2028, when new concord agreement in place
price tag for joining goes from 200 million to 600 million
