But with high numbers up in our area and knowing some folks that have it or had it I think it's wise to stay put for this year, sucks real bad though!!

We also have a new grandson that helped make that decision easier as we take care of him quite often so playing it safe on this side as well.

Once again hate to do this but it is what it is I guess, damn Covid !! Really hope to be able to do this fall run next year !!!

It sucks to hear but I completely understand your position. Covid has not made it easy. Hopefully it turns around soon!!
 
Yah, if one is not vaccinated and not up to wearing a mask indoors and public places, it’s a valid concern.

Anti vaccers ruining it for the silent and peaceful majority.
Sad.
Vast majority of cases is young unvaccinated adults.
Not so much the older crowd because they all got vaccinated.

Understandable Roger, but we will miss you.
 
Yup will surely miss getting together with you folks, that's for sure. Been looking forward to this all year plus haven't had the chance to drive the car much (just under 1000 kms only) so was win win opportunity for us. Now fingers crossed for next year's activities I guess ?? .. Just sucks !!

For those thinking about coming up through Route 126. The construction (culvert replacement) is still underway. The pot holes have been filled in, but it’s still gravel. Less than 1 km.

Not sure if we are now meeting any one at border from Island, let us know?
Also are we still meeting a few folks in Shediac ?

We plan to leave quite early in the AM from Western NS as we have some stops we want to make along the way and then a few on the 134. Yep, more photo shots... It is the first time on that route so going to take time and soak it in. We will not be part of a group and with the stops we make, we expect to get the Eco-boost lapped by a few Coyotes. :D
