would be good start in off season.
Big plus is a lot of young prospects for Habs.
Poehling 3 Years NCAA debut last night, goals were one thing, he gave and took hits.
Nick Suzuki ripping it up in OHL
Alexander Romanov D in KHL is NHL ready.
Couple of Finns playing elite league ready to challenge for a spot.
Josh Brook great 2nd year in western Hockey league

Several decent draft picks this years draft.
Also cap space to go get top end free agent this summer.

If a few of those young guys can stick, should be an improvement over last year.
I just Pray MB doesn't screw it up, thats his biggest challenge, him
being 8 years into 5 year build.
 
Leafs came out Strong in Game 1 beating Bruins 4-1. Boston's only Goal was on a Power Play. Should be a great series regardless of the outcome.

Washington beat Carolina 4-2 and Flames blanked Avalanche 4-0.
 
Well based on the season who would have thought,
Tampa down by 2 to CBJ
Jets down 2 to the Blues.
Pens down 2 by Islanders.

Something must have happened to Piss off the hockey gods.
Crazy things happening Leafs even 1st game of series in 16 years.

Interesting times ahead.
 
Being a Habs (Underdogs) Fan, I love it that the Underdog Teams (especially Blue Jackets and Leafs) (in game 1) are surprising everyone. Kutcherov will most likely be Suspended for game 3 for his Dirty head shot in last night's game, so I hope the Cannon fires often in Columbus Sunday Night and the Blue Jackets take a 3-0 Game Lead. And Go Leafs tonight !

Leaf fans are upset AGAIN game 2 didn't go quite as expected,
who knew it takes more than one win to win it all LOL.
Kadri was up to old self and looks like he will be a spectator
for a while. He does not do well when things get rough.
Game 3 should be interesting..

Caps win in OT to take 2-0 lead.
Nashville wins in OT to make it 1-1
Av's win in OT to make it 1-1.

Nothing easy and some great hockey.
 
Leafs played a solid game last night and beat the Bruins 3-2 to take a 2-1 series lead. Game 4 in Toronto tomorrow. Kadre is suspended for the rest of the first round.

Blue Jackets will try and sweep Tampa Bay in game four tonight.
 
Will be watching both games tonight.
Hard to believe pens and tampa could be golfing tomorrow.
Desperation should make for good games.
 
Watched the Blue jackets Lightning game, Columbus won 7-3 sweeping the Lightning in 4. Islanders also beat penguins 3-1 sweeping their series in 4 too.

Leafs Bruins game 4 tonight, leafs lead series 2-1, Go Leafs.
 
And Calgary is on the Brink of Elimination too.

One thing for sure, The Canadians don't have the team that Columbus has, and the outcome of the first round would most likely be different had Montreal made it instead of the Blue Jackets. But after winning 7 out of their last 8 games, Columbus is on a Roll.

Holy Banana, stayed up late to see the flames miracle...pffff...
 
Who would have predicted that Flames, Lightning and Calgary would be out, and Toronto would be leading Boston 3-2 going into Game 6 of Round 1. So I guess the Leafs are better than the Lightning, Penguins and Flames. They are playing game six tomorrow and the other 3 teams are playing Golf.

My Team was done in April, so I'm cheering for the Leafs.

It's like the old song from the 60's, "If You can't be with the One You Love, Love the One You're With".

Being a Habs fan, i can't cheer for leafs, its just not going to happen.
So I will cheer for the Jets, if they lose, I might cheer for the most Canadian
team in the Playoffs, The St. Louis Blues, they have the most amount
Of canadian Players by far :)
 
Jets lose and now eliminated. If vegas Elminates Sharks,
bottom 4 teams will move on in west.

My new picks for finals are 2 bottom teams in each division :)
 
Bruins advance to round 2 and Toronto gets eliminated in 1st round again.

Bruins play Blue Jackets, game 1 of round 2 tomorrow in Boston. I'll be following this one and cheering for the Blue jackets just because they swept the Lightning.

Sharks eliminated the Golden Nights and will meet the Avalanche in next round.

The other Western Series is Blues VS Stars.

And Islanders who are well rested are waiting for the winner of the Washington-Carolina Series to end tonight.

Blue Jackets have been resting for a while too. I'm thinking Bruins might have the edge having won their series last night.
