2017 Official Fall Run Page.

I just called the hotel in question that Jason is looking at. They have a security guard that works there on the weekends.He keeps an eye on all the vehicles. His name is shady Jim. He just works there part time. He actually runs a used car part shop that runs out of warehouse in Burnside Park. Seems pretty legit to me.

All jokes aside Jason would definitely not put us up in a spot he would not Park his Saleen and himself and not feel safe doing it. I am sure we will be more than alright.
 
I 2nd that, the site is well located, busy area, with good parking, I don't see any issues.
I know we all have reservations when leaving our baby outside for the night.
 
Ok ladies and gents, here is the information you need for the hotel portion of the 2017 Fall Run. Right now I am sending out the hotel info only so you can get an idea of cost and what's available. The dinner for Saturday night, Setpember 23rd is still being worked on but should be out to the public soon.

To book simply call the number on the site and let them know you are booking under the 2017 Maritime Mustang Fall Run. The offical block code is 1709MUSTANG if they ask. Everyone should be placed in the same area of the hotel. FYI if you want a king room you will probably end up in a different area. Hotel is also pet friendly but if you take one with you again you could end up in a different area.

Rooms are $115 per night and you also have the option of $10 extra per person if you want the hot breakfast in the morning. For those of you that don't, see below as to what's available to you as another option....

If you aren't familiar with the Halifax area, this is a great location based on where we plan on starting the run. You have an Irving gas station attached to the same parking lot with full convience store...Starbucks righ beside the Irving. Across the street is a Smittys Restuarant along with some other businesses and a Home Dept. Hotel is 2 minute drive from the Bayers Lake shopping area where there are also several dine in restuarants along with quick places to eat like Tim Hortons, McDonalds, Harveys, etc just to name a few. Shopping places galore!!!

Plan is to have a portion of the hotel parking lot for Mustangs only since there are no drive up rooms. Once it gets closer I will make arrangements for that. I had a tour of the hotel myself and it appears to be everything we need.

LOL. No wasting time haha. Gives everyone lots of notice to save up and prepare for an awesome weekend!!
 
Great work Jason, looks like it is all coming together.
Rich and Gerry just about have the route done,
Lunch should be arranged by next week.
Maybe one more mini meeting so we can all confirm
everything, then release into the wild of Mustang world :)
 
Once you book post here or private message me so I can keep track of the rooms we have left. I'm sure an official list will start at some point but it might be a bit early for that ?
 
Another thing for people to consider is bringing a Radio.
We use these to stay in contact on the run, they are affordable
and easy to use. Normally folks bring extras, we have always managed to have
enough for all.
 
Great job so far, are you planning on doing the run starting Friday AM and Saturday AM then back home on Sunday? or just Saturday and Sunday?
 
the run itself is Saturday and of course supper, for those interested.
Travel day Friday for those coming out of town.
We are planning a get together Friday night.
Sunday is travel day home for those from out of town.
Being local this time feels a little weird :)

Yes Dave he said they would offer valet parking. They actually prefer it as it gives them time to make copies of the keys in the back room. He also mentioned his favourite Color is yellow.....I felt that might be important to mention. Lol
