2017 Official Fall Run Page.

The first meeting for the fall run happened this morning. We have put together a plan.
Working on final run details, hotels, entertainment and place's to eat.
We will update as we get a little more info for you all.
 
To improve on 2016 will be hard! One suggestion how about adding some extra scenic stopping points where we can get some great group shots?
 
Yes we are looking for those perfect spots, now how many need to fit in those perfect photo spots , 27 like last year or hopefully more ?
 
I'm sure you guys will come up with something great again. Did an RV run a few years ago and took the south shore mostly on the old road but popped on the highway a couple of times, stayed in Yarmouth and came back through the old road in the valley. Good trip but we took our time and only travelled a few hours a day. Would be much faster in the Tangs but just happy to be a part of it wherever it is.
 
Details are coming along for the hotel and Saturday night dinner. Still a few details to work out but hopefully have it all ready to post by early next week at the latest. Rumour has it the lunch stop on the run is almost set also ?

Yes Aliona and I went for a drive Saturday and had a great lunch that could handle our crowd.
Parking is an issue and a few calls to confirm a few things left, but its coming together.
 
we have a few options, which we will work on, one being to park at legion, 5 minute walk,
park on the street, those who know chester, its a small town, with all sorts of side streets.
WHere I parked/ when I parked, 20 cars could have parked along that street alone.
Pain in the but, but considering, our choices will be very limited for places that can feed a crowd our size.
 
Where are the hotels in the area?Not that comfortable with Halifax and would like a safe area to stay/eat.I have enough grey hair now.:o
 
We will make sure not set you up in the hood :)
Jason is working on a several options, but we are looking at layers lake area.

I have the hotel all set (I think) but still a few details to work out. Hope to have it all posted soon where everyone will be staying. Good hotel and excellent location.

OK make sure it's not under the bridge in Dartmouth.Been there.Very scary location for a hotel.

Haha. No it's on the Halifax side very close to where I first lived when I moved here in 2002. Good spot and reasonably new.
