2016 Fall Run.

I vote for Summerside as the first stop. I think a reasonable route would be Summerside to Kensington then to Cavendishand down to Rustico Harbour. Cut a bit across country to Stanhope and along the North shore to Tracadie and then down to either Charlotetown or Monatgue. I'd lean towards Charlotetown as I always found Monatgue dead at night. Charlotetown makes a good central point for Sundays run home it's the same distance to the bridge or the ferry depending on which way people want to go

Sounds like good run, I think we have enough time to go to Morel, or Souris, my calculations would put us there for 12-1ish,
Make the loop back to Charlottetown, For Sat. Night. Of course like always depends on how many people and how many stops.

Summerside is the biggest Center after Charlottetown , makes sense. Island is so small we can get all of the above in no problem. Just got back from Souris. Charlottetown is a short drive from there. And it is very scenic in the summer fall.

We should start adding our names to a list and look at booking rooms by May early June.

I haven't been to the Island ( overnight) in Years, but last time I was, it was in Sept.
Rooms will be no issue, I know it sounds funny, but end of August, is end of tourist season.
By 3rd weekend 25 % of stuff will be closed and others getting ready to.

I do agree, we need to sort out a few things, then get on it.
First question is, does someone want to take care of this run?
Or do you want me to do it?

Last time I was in PEI the GoCarts sucked. They're not how they were when we were young. They're still the same GoCarts, but like us they've aged. We may still have a youthful side but the GoCarts haven't aged well. Still, be good for a laugh and bragging rights ;)

What I remember of Go Carting from when I went with the Boys when they were younger was that were not very comfortable , hard on the back , and that I could drive better than the kids in front of me but wasn't allowed to bump them out of my way and wreck them.

The last time I drove a gokart I was rear ended so badly by the kid behind me that I had to have physio on my back, it's still not that great and the accident must have been about 10 years ago or so
