What did you do to your mustang today

Put it up on jack stands as I have a mobile tire service coming to the house first thing in the morning to put tires on my new wheels and balance them. I will be taking the old ones off and putting the new ones on, so if anyone messes it up, it will be me. Anything to avoid leaving the car at a service centre.

New wheels on. Mobile service was great. Installed tires on new wheels, new TPMS, programmed them, balanced tires/wheels. He took at lot of care and no marks or scratches on the wheels. Took the car for a good drive, no shakes or vibration. Serves all of PEI. Maritime Mobile Auto - Alex VanDuinkerken (902) 213-6270. Definitely beats leaving your car at a service centre.
I agree I Love the idea of them coming to you. I always take my wheels off and bring them in if I can. This service would make it that much better. Wheels look really good.

So I got the “ your order has shipped “ email from Barton today. Now I have to decide if I am going to use the trans mount or the body mount…… decisions decisions

Had the Preventative Brake Maintenance done on BULLITT today.
Front Pads were at 50%, and rear pads still had over 50%.
I checked my maintenance records and rear Pads and Rotors were replaced in 2013 using Genuine Ford Parts and I have Never replaced the Front Brakes. The Front Pads are only worn to 50%.
Having a Car with a Manual Transmission is definitely helpful in making the Brakes last.
I have owned the Car since May 2011.

wow 2013, thats a long time, i should know but how many K's a year do you run?
I am changing my fronts again although I think they are likely ok at least to look at
but might be taking to the track again this summer, so front brakes are huge and I do brake fluid every
year but more if going to track.

Installed a set of Pedders Extreme XA Coilovers, J&M Engineering rear upper and lower control arms and a Whiteline adjustable panhard bar courtesy of Max/S197CS. The install went smoothly right up until it came time to remove the rear lowers. Both leading bolts were seized into the bushings and after burning through 2 Reciprocating Saw blades and not even scratching the stock bushings out came the torch and garden hose and we burned them off. But after all that there were no issues. I'm really happy with the Pedders setup. The ride is a lot firmer but not punishing like I expected and they have a 30 position adjustable compression/ rebound damping if I ever want to soften it up but it's perfectly reasonable at the 8 clicks down from full hard as set from Pedders. Anyway before and after pictures attached and a big thanks again to Max!!!

I guess I was not the only one busy in the garage today. I installed the new shifter. Decided to go with the transmission mount. Have to take it for a test drive after supper. The install was not as bad as I figured it would be they say 4-5 hours and that was what it took my. Only casualty was my creeper has officially died now lol. Here are a couple pictures of the two shifters, quite the difference.

Just took it for a little test drive, and wow what aa difference, the 2-3 shift is slick as car be now, absolutely zero slop now. A little vibration if you set your hand on the shifter , but noting over the top.

My pleasure! Happy to see my panhard bar back in duty. Stance is looking good. You will learn to love the new found handling, that's for sure!
time for safety, so that, oil change, thermostat changed, front rotors and pads changed,
brake fluid changed, full alignment.
only thing left to do, is I want to flush and change my Anti freeze,
tires already done so new.
needs a serious cleaning,
Some serious pads, for some serious stopping power
ones on it were about 50% but I felt to many heat cycles
so new pads, 100% stopping ability.
