Tire treatment suggestions

After trying many products I settled on this, made by Chemical Guys and available at many places including Walmart, Amazon, and Canadian Tire. I put it on with a sponge. Also works well on vinyl and plastic.

VRP is one of the few Chemical Guys products I find worth their price. You need to work it in a little I prefer a brush ( paint brush, chalking brush) to get it in all the grooves and sidewall designs. Let it sit for a little while 10 minutes or so, then give it a wipe with a microfibre towel. This will stop it from slinging .

I don't like putting anything on my sidewalls,
don't want it possibly working its way to the tread surface.
But I don't run same tires as most and tend to like corners, soooo.

I wash car, wheels and tires, I have cleaned sidewalls with glass cleaner
then wipe off, gives them clean look, no shine,
I don't want shine on the car, where as I like it on my truck.

Thank you everyone.
See that’s why I asked.
Great response.
Good input.
Wash day is tomorrow I hope.
Figure I can do a quick wash.
Tire shine is one of those things my favourite is a product from CarPro called Darkside but it’s rather expensive and some people don’t care for the high gloss. It’s a solvent based product so it last 4-6 weeks and it’s considered a tire sealant.
