Thought of the day.

Looks summer is over, fall weather is here after two incredible
days, sunny cool and windy, going down to 2 tonight :(
Big car show at Debert airport today, thinking of going
but haven’t spoken to wife about soooo :)

I was slightly over the speed limit when i came up on the inspector while he was following a small dump truck. I decided that passing them probably wouldn't be a good idea

good idea they can right tickets for all this stuff.
Most don't, but its the new things for them to go after
anything.

I used to keep a sign over my bench: Arguing with an inspector is like wrestling a pig in mud, after a while you realize they both enjoy it. That sign caused me much less grief than the Snap On calendar :)

I can't find the thread that mentioned the Petti Autofest anymore.
Anyways, stopped by on Sunday. A few nice blue oval products. Sorry, I didn't think of taking pictures until I left.
Wife and I both voted for a '56 Mercury Montclair as favorite. Two tone white and light green. Really well preserved.

Then close second or even tied for favorite was a '68 Mustang GT 390 fastback in eggshell color, auto shifter. I've seen this car before at either Moncton or Fredericton Mustang shows.

There was also a nice '69 Galaxie fastback in baby blue. Noticed the hood scoop on it was the same scoop that '69 Mustangs had, like the Mach 1's.
And a 50's Ford pickup with the distinctive "V8" grille emblem. A nice silver and ruby red color. The wood in the bed of that truck was as good as the wood in any home hardwood floor.

Honorable mention to a mostly stock 2008 Bullitt. DHG in color of course. I've also seen this car at the Taylor ford show before.
A little cool but the sun was breaking out when I got there.

Makes me anticipate upcoming Mustang shows.

Was my first time at NB Motorsports Hall of Fame museum. That was cool to take in. Reminded me of a couple of the spots I stopped along Route 66 last year at this time.

We have a great hobby.

I voted for the white 65 , was super clean and perfect shape. I think she left around 12.30..but yes a few nice machines in the mix for a cold breezy day IMG_20180603_1143504.jpg

Quiet day here eh, guess the cold weather takes that out of us.
Whats going on Mustang folks.
Cruises ? Life?

Well pool is down and off to pool heaven, back yard is a mess, new deck coming up pretty good, fixed issues with travel trailer, fence is in planning stages, mustang still in the shop out of town, leaving for 4 wheeler weekend in the woods with the boys...............no time to think, who said that 24 hours was plenty in a day ?? And weather was actually decent today !! for a change.....

Car has been parked for the week while at Skills Canada National competition in Edmonton. Some nice cars on the roads here, 1963 Ford convertible at the restaurant tonight, I'm guessing the girls driving their fathers toy , lots of Mustangs and a Lamborghini or two.
