Thought of the day.

I think if your not going to buy the V-8 people are now looking to the
4 cyl turbo, which actually has more HP than V-6

Saw a car I kind of liked. It's part Ford.I would have to sell the Mustang though. The parts situation could be iffy.

As a boy, I remember seeing a parking lot full of Bricklins at the facility in the Grandview Industrial Park, pretty cool. If you look on Google street view, theres a parking lot at the corner of Canterbury and Princess St in Saint John, just a couple of blocks away from my old high school (SJHS). If I knew how to do a screen shot I would have dropped it in, but lack of a picture gives a good indication of my computer skills. lol

I would say like Trevor the Ecoboost are getting rave reviews. I would say the V8 will always have the GT designation but that is just a guess.

Safety Green .. One day I will have one

Ended up doing deck work Sat and 9 holes at Airlane. Rain today. Going to the track tomorrow to watch Al for a bit.

It's only on paper that that V6 has more power than the 3V 4.6.
I had opportunity to put a 2017 V6 through its paces last week. Left me disappointed to say the least.
There's no torque to speak of. It only pulls briefly at low to mid RPM range, then falls flat.
The 4.6 pulls well through to 5500 even in stock version.
And then there's all the aftermarket goodies you can do to wake up the 4.6.
It's a hotroder's dream. Just a tune on the 4.6 will wake up the "drive be wire" throttle response and make it much better.
For what it is. It's simplicity of only a single cam and relatively low displacement volume, the 3V 4.6 is a very good engine.

V6 is no longer available as of 2018 model year. Performance not that great either. See my comment on previous page here.
2.3 Ecoboost sells more and performs better. No place in the lineup for V6 anymore.
On the heels of Ford's announcement that they are stopping the production of most cars, save the Mustang and Focus, there is already talk of hybrid Mustangs not that far down the broad.
It looks like we're all going to witness a hybrid or plug in hybrid GT.
That'll be a sad day for me. I think some things should not change that much.
I'll drive a hybrid Focus, turn off lights in my house, increase my recycling, but some things should just be off limits.
