Thought of the day.

Saw a car I kind of liked. It's part Ford.I would have to sell the Mustang though. The parts situation could be iffy.

This ones in Fredericton and there's one in Bathurst at almost half the price but it's half the car.The thing that bothers me is they are a mix of Ford and Amc parts and are prone to fiberglass cracks.I think the only way I would consider it is if I could keep the Mustang.Right now I have room for one car so a newer Mustang may be in the future(2011 and up).The Bricklin is cool though.

Plus one on the newer Mustang.
Not so much the Bricklin. They have issues.
A friend of my father's has one up here.
It spends more time at the dealership (Ford dealership) than it spends on the road.

During their limited production run, early production cars came with a 351 Cleveland and later came with a Dodge 360. As far as reliability goes, an outfit down in the States bought all of the leftover parts from the Factory and have eliminated most of the early problems with modern technology. First thing they fixed was the sagging Gull Wing Doors. Definitely a Neat Part of NB History and for your Father to have worked there is very cool.

Would be a good car to put new Mustang running gear and updated suspension but there goes the collector value.Maybe a Ford GT would be a better buy (Ha Ha).
