Tapping paddle shifters to downshift isn't nearly as satisfing as a fourth to second shift using a clutch and gear shift

They put Paddle Shifters on a lot of vehicles. Useless in my books.

If you want to shift gears, get a car with 3 peddles on the floor.

With my new Clutch, Aluminum Flywheel and MGW Short Throw Shifter, I really enjoy slamming gears. :FordSmile

I would be happy with paddle shifter on Ford GT or some other 1/2 million + super car
because of they way the work a true semi auto gear box.
But for muscle cars we drive you need the full experience.

Definitely, they have their place on Supercars, not Mini Vans. Manufacturers throw a Paddle Shifter on a crappy Family Hauler and then have the Nerve to call it a "Sport" Model !
