Thought of the day.

Need a few more April showers to do final clean up
of roads, then get the Stangs out, getting harder to look at and not drive.
Not often I want rain LOL

With 5-10 mm rain on Sunday and maybe another 5-10mm next Thursday.
Hoping this will be enough to clean up the last of the salt.
Maybe next weekend be able to get the car out for a spin :)

Yup! You N.S. and southern N.B. guys have it nice.
So close yet so far from northern N.B., it might as well be another country for climate and road conditions.
Roads so dirty and rough up here, probably won't touch Mustang here at least until May long weekend.
Along with residual salt, we still have lots of snow. Melt is still on big time.
This means mud and dust everywhere with frost heaves and bad potholes.
Logging is king where I live. Log trucks drag mud from wood lots to mills and back from mills to highways for miles and miles.
In May, the potato farmers will be planting, so they'll be dragging mud and dirt all over as well.
But hey, you guys enjoy! We live vicariously through you, dreaming of our turn.

It's getting closer to the time i will insure the Cobra for the road.

Some days the sun comes out, and I think, wow I could be out cruising right now. I should have insurance on the car.
20 minutes later it's raining like a frigging monsoon, and I come to my senses, and realize it's still to early... :(

With the Jays win today, they are now on pace for a 42 -120 season Lmao.
I feel for the hard core fans. Raptors start playoffs tonight. Looking good.
Leafs fans are in frenzy again, likely look like vicious dog drooling and stuff.

The most disappointing news of day, only calling for 1mm of rain in morning.
Normally I hate rain, but I need roads washed off arrrgggg,
Its Mustang season.

Well road trip to PEI completed, I now am the proud owner of Ford LT12.
For those who thought I was nuts about salt. Drove through rain and wet sections
several times and parts of Hwy. You should see the salt residue when it dried on truck.
So anyone with their Mustang out, can now consider it a year round car LOL.

We sure do need those April showers.
Daily readers will recall I mentioned to Bill that he should be glad he doesn't have to shovel his rain...
I'll have to keep my mouth shut. Looks like I jinxed myself.
Forecast yesterday was for maybe 1 cm of snow overnight tonight into tomorrow, then warm again for rest of week.
So I put summer tires back on truck yesterday.
Well today, northern NB from Madawaska county across to Bathurst and Chaleur region under snowfall warning.
10 to 20 cm forecast, depending on exactly where you are and elevation.
Ho well, I don't work tomorrow, so I don't have to drive in it.
