Ya roads here still have salt on them, I can see when driving
I suspect another 2 or 3 good rains are needed to get rid of it all.
Also the crap along edges will take some time to be beat back.
As for pot holes I agree, lots of new ones and not much warning where they are.
Hopefully government picks up its game a little, HRM and provincially they are way below
normal spending the last two years, maybe they will spend normal budgets this year
and catch up a little, roads are a mess.
 
SO my thought of the day, People put there cars away to protect them from the winter
conditions. Then first decent day, they have them out driving them. Salt still on roads.
Same crap only worse. Why bother putting them away, could drive them 80% of winter
if just worried about snow days.:rolleyes:
 
Yep still some salt out there for sure. Heavy dose in our parking lot at work and at the bottom of the hill coming out of my subdivision just to name a couple places. Getting much better and the fine dust you usually see on a dry day doesn't appear to be as bad but still around in spots if you take the time to look.
 
I like having mine home. I do not need to wait for a bunch of cars to move out of the way before I can get to it when I want to start changing the oil and getting it ready. Almost ready to take her out of the corner.
 
yes called the guy first lol, he had a ton of messages.
In good shape, everything works. I have no intentions
of using it to mow lawns, I don't even care about the deck :)

I will start one, but the real meat of it will be winter stuff.
Winter topics are always more of a challenge as us Mustangs folks
suffer winter withdrawals from our Mustangs :)
 
Those old Ford tractors are nice. Good conversation pieces. Not many left.
I still mow with mine. No more reverse gear. Lost that 15 - 20 years ago.
But then again, you don't mow grass in reverse.
 
Well if your looking for engine and transmission, also complete mower deck we should talk :)
I won't likely need any of that, maybe a few other parts I will be tossing, I have to figure it out once I pick it up. :)
 
Awesome day today. Got up to 23 degrees and the sun stayed out for most of the afternoon. Daily driver got a good going over and her car might get done tomorrow. Hopefully this weather is here to stay
