Thought of the day.

Halifax Beat Guelph 4-2 last night and are only Team with a perfect record so far.

I had season tickets for the Moose and missed 2 or 3 games, went to all the playoff games and have the package for the Memorial Cup lol. A ton of hockey I've seen this year. Tonight it's Guelph and Prince Albert. Tomorrow the round robin finishes with the Moose and Huskies.....another meeting of two teams that really seem to hate each other. Should be good. Moose have at least a semi-final berth and things will probably become a bit clearer after the game tonight as to what exactly will happen.

In last night''s Huskies, Prince Albert Game, every time Rouyn Noranda touched the puck, You could hear the Boos. :rofl

It's Dobson in particular. He's public enemy number one when it comes to the Moose. Why? Can't remember lol. Probably drew a questionable penalty or flopped at one point or another. There is always one player on a Q team that the Scotiabank faithful will boo no matter what. Having said that, there isn't much love between the two teams so tonight should be an interesting rematch....and you will hear a ton of booos lol.

Moosehead's losing 4-3 to the Huskies wasn't all that bad, they are heading directly to Final, Guelph will beat Huskies in Semi Final, then Halifax will meet and beat Guelph in the Final.

I didn't know that the Metropolis of Salisbury even had an A&W. :FordSmile

It's across from the Green Pig market which is just over the highway overpass from the Bigstop. They have a cruise on Wednesday nights but there isn't a lot to do there and there is a big farm behind that fertilizes and turns the air to poo.

A bit of a weird way to get to the final. Three teams tied at 2-1 so first tiebreaker was goal differential. Based on that Halifax and Guelph tied so that eliminated Rouyn Noranda. Second tiebreaker was head to head which the Mooseheads beat the Storm in the round robin. Doesn't get any closer than that. Such a short tournament you gotta figure out a way to get someone to the finals lol. The semi should be good tonight. I think the Moose would be better off playing Guelph. For some reason the Huskies give them fits and they tend to stand back and let it happen.

On another note, Kijiji has tickets for the finals anywhere from $300-$500 a ticket!! Those are crazy prices.

That's right, I was thinking Village of Salisbury, not Salisbury Big Stop Service Area.

Nothing like the smell of Pig or Chicken waste to clear the Lungs.

They used to and probably still do one at the A&W across from Champlain Street too.

I don't think there is an actual cruise in Dieppe but A&W in Amherst does one on Wednesdays as well if I'm not mistaken. The new cruise on Sunday nights at Canadian Tire on Mountain Road starts June 9th.

Hopefully the weather is decent June 9th.

I went to the one in Amherst a few years ago.

Not many cars, hardly any Mustangs, and what I remember is the fellow that had a solid looking 2 door early 70s Chevelle, it was a little dusty when he showed up. All he had for a detailing kit in his trunk was a roll of Industrial paper towels that he proceeded to "Dust" the Car off with. He didn't Win "Best Paint"

Crazy Ticket Prices, but probably 10% of what they are getting for Stanly Cup Finals. And I will be cheering for Guelph tonight, and Halifax Sunday.
