Thought of the day.

Yah they do.
We see a lot of them up here and one common denominator we look for is paint damage.
Rock chips very common on the front ends.
It seems like Quebec drivers follow other cars closely on the highway.
Maybe it's the rush hour commutes...
They do use more of a mixture of sand and small pebble abrasive on the highway in winter than NB does.
Whereas NB use only salt during certain storms. Quebec will mix in abrasives.

Busy day yesterday. Helped my oldest Son move out, Again, LOL. He was on his own in Moncton for 5 years, moved back home 3 years ago, and he and his Girlfriend just got an Apartment together. Just in time, cause our Youngest Son, is moving back home from Newfoundland, where he has been a Provincial Sheriff for the last 5 years. He just got hired by the Town of Shediac as their Bylaw Enforcement Officer. We are more than pleased, and so is his Girlfriend who is living and working in the HRM. She will be looking for Employment down here. She is a Marine Biologist.

Nice pictures Carlos.
Hope weather holds for you and the racers. Enjoy.
Montreal is a pretty cool city to hang out in.

Yah, Ted keeps a pretty good stash of goodies at his store, including t-shirts and signs, along with go fast parts.
I've only ever stopped in at the St-Catherine location.
But there's a second location in Laval.
Nice getaway for you.

Attended the 1st Sunday Night Show at the Mountain Road Canadian Tire in Moncton. Got there at 6:30 and parking was full. The Organizers Goal for the Season is to raise at least $5,000 for the Canadian Tire Jump Start Charity, (for those unfamiliar with it, they assist less fortunate families by providing Sporting Equipment to Children who's families cannot afford to enroll their kids in Hockey etc.) they got off to a Good Start last night, raising over $400. Winner took home $230 in 50/50.

Anyone get out for drive or show on weekend ?
Been busy since dyno weekend and with wife away not much play time.

After my house duties on Sunday morning I got out for 150KM ride all by my lonesome. The Boss was working. I enjoy just clearing my head sometimes. Stop when I want and drive like I want. Been a rough few weeks. That felt really good. Popped into our first Canadian tire cruise of the season. Car was covered in bugs so we parked on the outside and walked the show quickly. Good turnout.

Not here.
No car shows in northern NB.
First one coming is June 29 in Tracadie.
And am going to miss that because volunteering to put on the 40th edition of "Les jeux d'Acadie"..
Translated to the "Games of Acadia" where young athletes from around our region "Acadia" get together every summer to compete in various sports.
The term Junior Olympics is used in the States for similar events.
For some athletes, it's a springboard to Canada Games and beyond.

Those bugs add "character"!

I am a sports fan, having played many different sports over the years and in school.
So I tend to follow a lot of different sports. I can't watch them all as no one has that much
free time :) I did watch a fair bit of NBA playoffs and the Raptors run.
Congrats to the Raptors for winning the NBA championship and seeing some incredible
games along the way. Bringing the Championship north of the boarder making history.

For Toronto fans, you will final get to see a parade in Toronto LOL
The route is well known as Leafs fans have it mapped out every September :)
