Spring Dyno run.

Jason dropped by today and we discussed some plans for dyno run,
hotels, leaving times etc. We will start researching them and update
as we get info.

Anyone else wanna come or add anything ?

Looked up some hotels prices and potential routes/times. It’s a long weekend for those in the US so hotel prices might be a bit higher than usual so we should start deciding shortly. Get a roomie and it’s not bad at all.

I'm officially without a car at the moment! I'm either doing the run in my KIA, jumping in with one of you guys.... or maybe.... driving my new stang if I can find one in time?????

I have some local contacts in NH, not car guys, but could tap into some sources if any issues. Let me know if I can help.

I think you need to add my name to the Dyno list guys :)

I just got back from a whirlwind trip to Toronto to purchase a 2016 GT. I'll start a new thread about the car's specifics, but the engine is completely stock right now. I'm not planning on doing anything crazy to this car, but I know a cold air kit and tune is pretty much a mandatory step :)

Well he hasn't got it home yet, anything could happen.
After all it is Phil. But he kept Cobra 1.5 years, that has to
be a record for him :)
One year he bought and sold 4 cars LOL

Hummmm interested in this trip... have a new tune sitting in the basement, but since i don’t expect a miracle from the cold air i have and only a tune and axle back, would be mostly for the trip!!

My first trip I had same car, pretty much same thing, I had Pete tune car.
I did not have big gains in power, but was improved.
Where I noticed the difference was in how car worked.
the drivability, was a huge gain. But either way you should come for drive:)

Pete only works with SCT.

Worry not, been wise enough to order the sct x4 and nothing else. :p it is coming preloaded with a custom tune from brenspeed too so we’ll see how that goes!

Ok folks. Time to start nailing down some of the details for this annual adventure. Trevor and I met today for ideas and here is what I got for information....

Departure will be 7am on Friday May 25th from the Irving Big Stop in Salisbury, New Brunswick. For those coming from Nova Scotia or anywhere outside of Moncton (unless it's on the way to St Stephen) please make sure you are there and ready to leave for 7am.

Plan is to drive straight to Performance Dyno, 34 Staniels Road in Loudon, New Hampshire with stops along the way for fuel, lunch, washroom breaks, etc and hopefully have all the cars tuned/dyno that Friday night. If not, first thing Saturday morning will be the plan....will confirm those details as we get closer and have official numbers.

Hotel for Friday night May 25th, 2018 is Holiday Inn Downtown Concord.....right downtown and walking distance to restaurants, bars, coffee. Also just off the highway and a 10 minute trip to Performance Dyno. Find a roomie and all is good!!

Saturday morning May 26th, 2018 we will either leave Concord from the hotel or from Performance Dyno once all vehicles have been completed. Plan is to take our time and do a coastal run eventually ending up in Bangor, Maine that evening. Stops include Old Orchard Beach and a drive up US Highway 1 getting on around Freeport, Maine. This is all weather permitting of course so route could be changed.

Hotel for May 26th, 2018 is Quality Inn Bangor.....hotel is beside the mall, gas stations, coffee shops. Great location walking distance from everything.

Sunday May 27th, 2018 is gas up and head for home!!!

The format is changed a bit from last year. We decided to put more of an emphasis on getting up to the destination quick and then slowly making our way back. Also Sunday will be a lot less of a drive which is nice for those working on the Monday. Also starting from Salisbury on Friday morning should be a good head start and get us to Loudon by 3pm to 4pm including stops etc.

Sign up!!! Should be a good time as usual.
