Road to buidling a 1990 Foxbody LX

Well after a long summer and seems still busy, Unless it snows.
Sunday morning the project begins officially :)
For starters Sunday mornings ( weather permitting)
I will spend 3-5 hours picking away.

I will start a seperate build thread, for the actually build.
Comments not directly related to build should be posted here.
Hoping to keep it clean for future reference if anyone is building
something similiar in the future.

THis thread is the road to building LX fox body, with tons of stuff
regarding build, but lots of, off topic stuff as well. This is cool and enjoyed it,
will also continue it for the build stuff that goes off or slightly diverted topic
of the Build.

That said, I am starting a new thread dedicated to the build itself
Which I hope to keep on topic and hope folks will help by posting according
to each topic. Directly related new build thread, anything else here.
Thanks in advance for your help with this.

Sent you an option from Nelson Racing....the dual fuel tank. Run pump gas...purge and race gas supply on a toggle.
never got link, but no plan to run race gas.
Plan is dual puporse, keeping a bit more civility than orignal thoughts.
which were street legal race car, no thinking street car, exceptionally track capable.

so basic plan, full suspension upgrade, street with track use capable
will add this, but should go without saying, upgrade 4 bolt to 5 bolt pattern
all 4 corners.
Slight up grade to roll bar, not full cage.
fuel cell and delivery system upgrade.
Rear seat delete, replace front seats recararos or similar ( not full race seats)
Likely 4 point harness both driver & passenger.
Carpets and interior reinstalled. Stereo and air ( I think )
Leave sound proofing in car.
Some level of ground affects, not decided exactly what yet.
Custom exhaust, maybe even side exhaust
Rebuilt heaver axles and rear-end. 3.73 gears
Upgraded clutch and pressure plate.
Upgraded brakes front and rear.
upgraded wheels and tires.
New paint, scheme and colours not decided.
new lighting front and rear.
Maintain most of original look, adding some level of ground effects.
IE: side skirts, front splitter, rear defuser and likely small flares
to help accommodate wider wheels and tires.
Currently planning 10" / 11" square set up, maybe if budget allows
offset street wheels and tires with wheels and tires for track use.
Likely not due to costs.

Engine, new induction with cold air and long tube headers,
with setup capable of adding SC or turbo in the future
if 500 plus HP does not seem like enough :D
