Yes, sounds like an excellent plan and minus a repaint, you could probably do powertrain, brakes and suspension for 20 to 25 K. Not cheap, but cheaper ?

Could go ratrod style at the beginning...mismatched wheels, grinder paint job, etc. All things that can be corrected when time and budget is right! Haven't seen many or even any ratrod Foxes.... Be a trendsetter!

I don't expect cheap and I suspect US dollar and likely drop in income this year.could be rough for start of project.
BUT I can strip it, get it cleaned, soda basted, epoxy primer and any rough body work and frame work done.
All of which will be the low cost of the project.

Then shopping, starting with suspension and drive train, roll bar, safety gear,
Never know what one can find on Kijiji or other sites seats etc.

custom exhaust, ( i have connection ) and paint will be last.

So for now I can search and look, come up with ideas and
hopefully 2-3 years from now I can unleash on the world

yup low KM about $3500, I am already doing suspension so part of swap cost in that.
but if just putting in car as is about $2800
I will only need wiring harness besides suspension.
