NHL season 2023 / 24

Habs Beat Sabres 3-1 👍

yet the NHL experts power ranking have Habs ranked at 20th lol
these clowns have jobs, reporting and writing sport news and get it wrong so often
makes you wonder if they use to be weather people :ROFLMAO:

I understand, no one expects the habs to do much this year.
I expect a reasonable jump from last year and at the moment they are
exceding expectations, good on them for doing the work, with key injuries
already this season.

Long way to go and if they can't make playoffs, I would rather they finish in bottom 10
as better draft pic's and helps future. As a fan, I love the compete, several comback wins and OT losses
they have no quit, as fan of rebuilding team, I am very happy with this as young guys gain valuable experince and get
better, the future is bright.

total side note about NHL teams in general.
It can be incredible how much cap space getspaid, to deals / players
that are no longer on the team. Almost every teams has some of this.

Montreal as an example got rid of almost 10 million of this in spring,
another 7-8 million left next year, maybe a few bad contracts
every team has this, IE players on team far over paid.

Top of league costs, bad deals, draft pics, etc.
Makes every team have to go through lean years, to clean it up
and re-stock draft pics, to be good again, example Pittsburgh, real close to the end
Chicago now in full rebuild as well.

Montreal is on track for 2-3 years.
teams like rangers, Ottawa, detroit, starting to see gains.
Montreal will have all three in 1-2 years
good young players, draft pics for use or trade and cap space, the future is bright. :D

Last night was rough for most Canadain teams
except Vancouver who keeps on winning.
Calgary get a win.

Edmonton loses again, could be over before it starts
for so called cup contenters.

Jets win,, Ottawa losses, again.

Toronto loses, but Matthews gets 3 goals, yet is even on plus minus,
so not much help on defensive side of puck. Leafs will be ok
as they are still top 4 odds of winning cup, at least until April LOL

MOntreal lost, which I could live with, excpet how they lost,
wicked amount of giveawyas, and far to many bad passes.
out hustled most of the game, when they played the competed
could have won if not so sloppy or lazy.
Hopefully someone reminds them this is NHL, not minor hockey.

Well Montreal played great in first, would have been better off to stay in dressing room for 2nd
played well in 3rd, so lost game, 60 minutes is required to win.

And for Pete's sake, will some one please tell them what dump and chase means

so I waited to post on last nights game so I would calm down,
would have been a bag sake today and a passing practice.
I taught the stuff these guys are doing wrong to Adam players,
maybe they need a refresher course.

they outplayed, out shot and out chance Calgary last night
and managed to lose 2-1, give aways are bad, perfect passes to
opposing players  at least 10 in 1st 10 minutes of 3rd.

I love josh anderson, but no goals YET this season,
let him work it out on 3rd line, not on first or PP
I thought St louis coached Peeweee before NHL, they know this there.
Gally, gotta love him, but do not put in defensive positions on purpose, hes horibble and skakes so slow its sad,
shove in front of other net every chance you get, no other hab will go near it :( :( :(

wanna tank, great don't tease me with great play and stupid plays for the better players,
make up your mind. Oh and I relaize a day wasn't enough, man I was pissed to stay up and watch them lose that(n)

With T-Giving in the US this week a lot of games are early in the day so if you are in the "HAB"it of watching your teams check the schedules. Rare to see a Ducks or LA game for Montreal as they are usually 10 or 11 PM on the road.

Some early Atlantic times

Fri
Det in Bos 2 PM
Tor in Chi 3 PM
MTL in San Jose 4:30 PM

Sat
Bos in NYR 2 PM
MTL in LA 5 PM
Tor - Pit 8 PM

Other teams - meh.

If a fan of any check the schedule.

Thanks 🙏

I automatically assumed that all 3 games would be late

Now I will definitely be watching Friday and Saturday ✅

well upside and down side, with way Montreal has been playing I figured west coast trip I would just read bad news LOL
Now I have to watch it, not 100% sure why but east coast teams never seem to do great on west coast trips,
Hope I am worng, likely to much sun, beach, golf or beer, maybe all of above LOL

if you need a good laugh go read power ranking, they make about much sense as a politician :ROFLMAO:
