New Bronco

Not knowing how fast you are driving isn’t good

Years ago I remember stopping cars for speeding and finding that the speedo was off by 10 kph because the client had switched from a 70 to a 75 aspect tire, their speedo showed 110 when the were actually going 120

Covid was not only reason we skipped the run.
We are doing renos to the house.
Painters and tile guy were in the house Friday.

So we took drive to Fredericton Home Depot for a few things Saturday.

Scouted the lots at Wood Motors and Riverview Lincoln at same time.

Wood had best lot.
I was surprised to count 12 F150s on their lot.
We had none on Friday.

But I was most impressed with this Badlands Bronco on the lot.
Of course, there was a Sold sign in it.

Well appointed and sporting the 2.7 ecoboost.

Just shy of $67,000.00 sticker though.
Tires on this are same size we put on the one I posted above, 285-70-17.
That’s pretty much 33 inches.

Any idea when the Fixed roofs will be shipped to Dealers for install on the ones already sold ?

Well they have updated out Bronco and say its back
at rail yard awaiting shipping, due to land Nov 3rd to 9th
not holding breath based on history, 4 canceled build dates,
3 canceled delivery dates, when it lands here I will beleive it LOL.

My Son saw these Broncos at Taylor Ford last week

And they all had Solid Roofs ?View attachment 49470View attachment 49471View attachment 49472View attachment 49473View attachment 49474
Those are the sport version, small bronco.
they started those last year, the full size are ones with roof issues.
I have seen 5 or 6 here with hard tops, rest are soft tops.
heres a full size Bronco

Very easy to work with though.
Easy to open the top.
Easy to open the back.
Very quiet for soft top.
Surprisingly quiet actually.
Deserves a test drive and demonstration of its functionality.

The owner of the soft top we sold can’t stop gushing about it.
And he’s comparing to a 2019 F150.
How comfortable it is.
How quiet is is.
How comfortable the seats are.
How much occupant space there is.
On and on.

I don’t know that I would give up my F150 for one, but if I wasn’t deep enough into Mustangs and I was looking for fun or top down summer vehicle, sure.

My wife is not interested for herself.
She loves her 2020 Titanium Escape 2.0 litre.

And if I were replacing my wife’s vehicle with a larger, more expensive vehicle, I would go for an Edge ST and still keep my F150.

We are waiting for the full Bronco to get mainstream then our 2019 Edge AWD SEL with 27,000 Km will be offered up for replacement. I am fine with a 2 door hard top but she wants a 4 door. Mainly will be her daily vehicle as I still have the 2013 XTR crew for my winter beater and the Mustang the other 8-9 months. No rush yet but once they start popping up at the dealers it will be enticing to make the move.

I was there whne Mcphee put the hard top back on
two guys 6 minutes, that easy, can do most alone
but back section far easier with two people.
I have been told the doors can be taken off in
about 5 minutes each, so in summer if you wanted to strip it down for the day
about 20-30 minuts two people and you don't lose mirrors like the Jeep.

Not sure wife would like that, but I think it would be cool on nice day :)
If I am aloud to drive it LOL

I hope to get the new gen 4 door Bronco in the next couple years ..i still have my pulleys set up from when i used to put my cap on and off by myself.. so the hard top shouldn't be an issue ?
