New Bronco

Well some updates.
Looks like order date is
January 19th, so next Tuesday.
With all the delays, rumor is Canada
will see first ones in June ( maybe)

I also heard the have reduced production for 2021
not confirmed yet, but if true will piss off a bunch of people.
Ford says they have 200,000 preordered,
They expect 60,000 to drop off that list, either don't want to wait,
change mind, etc. If true thats 140000 and will take them til
end of 2022 to produce, so be late 2022 before you can order
off the lot, so it has been said, we will see how much of all
of this is true.

Hurry up and wait and wait and wait :(
 
Well apparently ordering banks opened yesterday afternoon,
followed quickly by crash of system, likely not ready
or quickly over loaded. Maybe 200,000 people trying to order LOL

So I got order in today for Aliona's new Bronco.
minus mudular painted black roof, which was a delay item.
Best I can tell, only big difference is colour, and it saved us
$2500.00 :)

I expect if wanted could wrap or paint for less
if major issues later ( I doubt it.)

Next process is Match 19th conversion period,
and between that date early April, should get
some idea of delivery date. If there is no more interruptions
best expected dat late may, more likely late June or even early July.

Yes and they are saying MY22 will have many more options and colour choices.
So those who have to wait or choose to wait, will have bigger selection.

Me either actually and seeing Bronco sport up close, they are not big, but not small.
A bit bigger than escape I would say.
Mind you in pic above, you have full size, also in Sasquatch package with 35 inch tires,
and a bit forward in pic, so makes it look bigger than it likely is.
 
I’m not at the like stage yet with EV’s.

Know what is proliferating to gas cars from the EV cars?
Brakes by wire.
They’re getting more and more common.
No pedal feel and require more foot pressure to achieve same braking as hydraulic brakes.
Harder to modulate at slow speeds,
and precision parking, like lining up in dealer lot.

Me don’t like. ☹️
