Electric Vehicles

Canada has announced ban of sale of gas cars & trucks In 12 years
Gov is so disconnected from reality
That were no where near ready and folks don’t have resources to do this

Wonder if manufactures can be 100% switched in 12 years
Never mind the Manufacturers being ready, the charging infrastructure is not being developed to support this mandate.

Most we can hope for is a New Government to scrap this Idiotic Plan.

your very right, hear some talk but no plans to build dupply or even deliver supply,
most folks have no idea how silly these announcments are
next Gov will likely look bad for telling the truth

The same company also outfited BC Ambulance services . The Electric Vehicle (EV) Pilot Project is part of the government’s CleanBC initiative to reduce carbon emissions with funding provided through the Carbon Neutral Capital Program (CNCP). It will also help reduce air contamination and environmental degradation.
Front line responders - paramedic specialists, advanced care paramedics, and supervisors - will use the Ford Mach-E vehicles to respond to calls in the Metro Vancouver area starting this fall. One of these single-responder vehicles will also be deployed in the Greater Victoria Area.

I can see them working in a City setting, wouldn’t work in Rural Policing or with Paramedics in Rural Setting.

Mach E 90k plus 5k fast charging station, 8k to install charging station
your tax dollars hard at work,
now if you drink the cool aid and think your saving the planet,
congrats to you :)

I’m pretty sure the RCMP isn’t paying $90,000, Fleet Pricing plus additional incentives to get them to try EV’s would apply and the % of EV’s in Fleet would be minimal.

Not even taking into consideration the additional $10000 to $25,000+ (at least) to replace the batteries in five years.

Plus the fact they're not really Mustangs. :ROFLMAO:
