Never mind the Manufacturers being ready, the charging infrastructure is not being developed to support this mandate.
Most we can hope for is a New Government to scrap this Idiotic Plan.
your very right, hear some talk but no plans to build dupply or even deliver supply,

Came across this online, an Alberta Law Enforcement agency who started to use the new Ford Electric Mach E in their Fleet this winter.

I did do some research into this and it is fully operational as a regular Patrol Cruiser and it is equipped with Front and Rear Radar and prisoner Cage and has the same equipment you would see in a regular Patrol cruiser.

Front line responders - paramedic specialists, advanced care paramedics, and supervisors - will use the Ford Mach-E vehicles to respond to calls in the Metro Vancouver area starting this fall. One of these single-responder vehicles will also be deployed in the Greater Victoria Area.

The New York City Police Department is beginning a shift to electric vehicles, deploying 200 new Ford Mach E's as the city looks to cut emissions.

I can see them working in a City setting, wouldn’t work in Rural Policing or with Paramedics in Rural Setting.

I’m pretty sure the RCMP isn’t paying $90,000, Fleet Pricing plus additional incentives to get them to try EV’s would apply and the % of EV’s in Fleet would be minimal.just remember average ford explorer before uplift, 60 k
