2024 / 25 NHL Season

Habs do not have a playoff level goalie or solid tandem. If one is injured or fatigued they have no spare. Unless they have one in the shadows it will be the usual 82 game season.

On the other hand quite enjoying the Amazon Prime Monday night Canadian Team games. All that biased TSN/Sportsnet/CBC junk commentating is gone. Just good play-by-play and a damn fine quality picture. Makes the other broadcasters look sad.

yup sent down Mailou today, great blame him Dache has worst plus minus in league.
He may not be what we hoped based on draft pick.
I love Anderson but hes not doing much and we have far to many old
slow not performing guys, if we are going to hurt like this
play the kids and let them learn and trade some of this old slow crap
for something, should be able to get one decent player if give them 6
and trade two goalies for new set of gear

could hang goalie gear in net and make as many saves as them two last night.
 
early season, east Boston is struggling and Montreal is way worse then said or predicted, who got what wrong?
team quits in 3rd, yes rebuilding but htis could get ugly quit, whats wrong, players? coaches? system?
year 4 should see some improvements, look at detroit, buffalo and Ottawa, all better.

Pittsburg looks rough already, is it time to pull the plug, can they do anything do at least make a decent run?

Edmonton, better start than last year this time but not by much, now Mcdavid out for 3 weeks,
can they really get back to finals, they need more than 2 players to do it.
 
The entire Atlantic has been crap so far lol. Habs only 5 points back of Tampa who are in second. Florida leading the way but goals against aren’t the greatest.

Leafs look good and then terrible. Terrible and then good. But what what has really changed with the team? Coach lol. The rest is identical to what they’ve iced in the past so I’m sure it will be another year of the uppers going what happened? Meanwhile we all know what they have to do lol.

Washington and Winnipeg eh. Who would have thought. Still only early but lots going on.

All these guys did nothing but win, thats how they get to NHL.
your suppose to give them instruction and sytems that work in NHL
stop blaming the players and look in Mirror.

Most pundits say the defence is horrible, which it likely true, but considering
almost all of these guys have been there last year except for Lane Hudson which is a -5 and needs to learn its not all offence all the time
but Montreal has no cap space, which makes not sense its normally one of the trade marks of re-build
plenty of cap space, plenty of flexibility

So at this point, they got a bunch of wrong players ( Hughs faultor problme)
or its coaching, because except for Caufleid, not much fun watching this bunch
which is coaching and systems, so someone better wake up soon.
this is just outright sad.
 
Habs playing New Jersey tonight, the havn't won in forever and its been 50 years since they last beat NJ

Side note, TSN announced Greatest player in the world is sidelined, I thought Mcdavaid was Back
so I kep reading, they Meant Austin Matthews, I thought it was agaisnt the rules to drinking at work now :ROFLMAO:
