2018 -19 NHL season

Ya I watched the first 2, Dubnyk was hot, and being shut out 1-0 doesn't hurt as much as getting Shut Out 4-0 by the Predators like the Leafs did last night.

But the Habs know how that feels cause they've been there this year too, it was against Boston if I'm not mistaken.

Canadians beat Red Wings 3-2 last night to take back 2nd Wild card Spot with 51 points, behind sabres with 52, Boston with 54 and Toronto 2nd in Atlantic with 56. I don't think anyone will catch up with Lightning who have 68 points.

Blues beat Habs 4-1 last night and Islanders won, so they are back in 1st Wildcard spot followed by Sabres and Habs are first team out of Wild card.

Hopefully Habs will beat Avalanche Saturday.

Go Habs Go !

I only watched 1st period that was enough.
2 St louis power plays one goal.
2 Montreal power plays, 1 goal, oh but for St Louis LOL.
Montreal looked afraid of them.

Was enough for me too. In bed after 1st. Alarm was set for 6 this morning. Wasn't going to waste valuable sleep for that piss poor effort.

Great Habs Avalanche Game last night. Habs win 3-0, and are back in 1st Wild card spot, 3 points behind Boston and 5 behind Leafs. Habs play Bruins Monday.

Outside of Tampa the east is very close, no team can take a game off.
play bad for a week or 2 and you will be on outside looking in.
Makes it more fun to watch regular season games.
Boston Montreal was a good game, love the rivalry between these teams.

Tight it is, Toronto, 2nd in Atlantic, has 58 Points, then Boston, 57, .Habs 55, Islanders 54 and Buffalo that is first team outside of Wild card has 52 points only 6 less than Leafs. The way it has been going, like Trevor said, every single point counts. Florida Panther are in Montreal tonight, Go habs Go !

What a game last night, 3rd win in a row for Habs with Goals by Weber, Danualt and Domi in 2nd then Kotkaniemi and Gallagher in 3rd.

Niemi was the Star of the Game making an amazing 52 saves out of a total of 53.

Habs are in Columbus Friday. Every time Columbus scores, they Fire of their Frigging Cannon. I can't forget the game last year that the habs lost 10-1 there.

But the Habs also have a Cannon, Shea Weber, and he usually fires from the Blue Line, and he's been hitting the target lately. :FordSmile

Montreal and the Islanders both win, making it even tighter in the east.

Yea, only 2 points separating Leafs who are 2nd in Atlantic and Penguins who are in 2nd Wild card Spot behind Canadians.

I watched the first 2 periods and if it was not for Niemi it would have been a different score after the first period. They were out shot big time. They came back hard in the second and played some good hockey. I was glad to see Domi get back on the board. Looks like the 3rd period did not disappoint either. I watched the replay of Kotkaniemi's goal, the 4th of the game. It was awesome. That kid will mature nicely and realize that he has some awesome hands and sometimes there is no need to make that extra pass and just shoot the puck.

Jason a life long Leafs fan was in the Mecca of hockey last night and watched Montreal win.
He swears not fun, But sent me a video and I am sure was standing and clapping.
He will of course never admit this. I believe he was overwhelmed with the whole experience
for us Habs fans its hard to comprehend never having the history or being a live for 40 + years and never
seeing your team host a cup. Being in the mecca of hockey with so much history, legends must have been
truly an experience for him. Being a Leafs fan and spending his whole life in denial will likely not
admit to how great it was to even be there :)
