Yeah I agree. A great day run Trevor with only fuel and food to worry about. The hotel stay makes it easier but it is not a necessity.

Kind of weird for us, we can go home for this one.
But we are planning to do Friday night and Sat night events.
I know a couple of couples who are local, staying at hotel.
So they can eat have a few drinks and not worry about it.

A little break from reality, just enjoy our Mustang friends.

You guys know the road and hotels there the best. However, as someone thinking of coming from away I would prefer that the second night not be any farther away than Halifax to make the return to the Island easier on Sunday. Just my 2 cents.

The run starts and ends in Halifax.
You can book at the same Hotel for both nights.
It is basically very close to Bayers lake.
Which is right on the 102, so easy access when coming and going.

That's one thing I focused on for this year (and last year pretty much the same). Tried to find hotels that were central and easy for everyone no matter where you are coming from. There was a hotel that we could have used down towards the end of the run but just didn't make sense for most coming from away.
