Out of all the round one match ups, the closest one has been Boston-Toronto, now tied 3 a piece. Who could have predicted that ? Good on the Leafs !

Lightning took New Jersey in 5 games

Capitals took Blue Jackets in 6 games

Penguins also needed 6 games to eliminate Flyers

Golden Nights swept LA

Sharks also swept Ducks

Predators needed 6 games to eliminate Avalanche

and Jets 5 to eliminate Wild. Round one has been great, can't wait till 2 starts.

I'm a Hockey Fan and my favorite Team is the Canadians.

But I don't stop watching Hockey when they don't make the playoffs, cause I am a Hockey Fan.

Being born Habs fan, Hating the Leafs and Bruins is in Habs handbook.
The rules state both teams can't lose in a series ( I checked)
To bad really, so I want bruins to eliminate leafs first because Leaf fans are more Annoying.
Then I can cheer for Tampa to beat Bruins, then Pens to Beat Tampa and they east is as I predicted LOL.

I would love to se jets win the cup and they have a shot. I watch to mostly because I am a fan.
Last nights game was good, best part was them beating each other to death right to game 7 :)
 
Last night watching game, 5 minutes to go, 6-4, I texted my friend Paul a Bruins Fan and told him Anderson would be pulled in a minute or 2 and then Marchand would make it 7-4 with an empty netter. 3 minutes later that is what happened. A repeat of 2013, Boston coming back from behind..

But Credit to the Leafs, they battled hard and forced a game 7, the only series in first round that required one.
 
yup wore out Bruins for Tampa.
hopefully they get taken out quick.
then I can enjoy the rest of playoffs lol
 
2nd round has started, But now we truly see a flaw in the NHL
Watching the Jets - Preds game and thinking this could be the best series
in the playoffs. # 1 and 2 meeting this early should never happen.
The playoff format does not reward 82 games of a hard work.
One of these teams will be gone, helping a lower seed team to an
easier road through playoffs.

Pens win 1 st game over caps

Jets beat reds in 1 st game.
 
Bruins are done, tampa wins in 5 going to get another rest.
They will face winner of caps or pens.

Vegas has a chance to close out San jose tonight.

Boston was chasing TB all season, no surprise there.

Hoping to see Jets VS Golden Nights in Western Finals and Lightning VS Washington in East with a Capitals Jets Final, with the Jets as Stanley Cup Champions.

We will know tonight if Jets and Caps have eliminated Preds and Pens.
