Rear end set up in place, forward / rear lined up, once engine goes in we can line up left to right and hopefully bolts up to one of the two drive shafts we already have.

Set of used Hoosiers on new wheels ready and these will likely only be used for tune and some testing laps.
2 sets of better used Pirellis and 2 new sets of drys and one set of wets should be here this week.

More progress made today, after a lot of messing around and we had to remove the headers to get engine in, then
put headers back on, myabe a few small adjustments, but it real close to where it needs to be.
Have to see after we try driveshafts if good or needs tweaks.
Also relaized spline on drive shaft is wrong for our transmission, so have to get new one
always something,

oh also had to cut section out of top part of footwell for headers to fit, so some
fab work needed there. Also shifter will be about 8' further forward, but will work
bit of sheet metal work for that also, 2 steps ahead, one back lol.

When you take a go fast turn left - turn left, go fast turn left car and change it to a go fast right / turn left track car there are lots of changes to make. Then add a different engine - transmission ! The little things are just the challenges of building a car - they build character and sometime a new vocabulary.

You are correct, not sure I have learned any new words, but I have used a lot fo the old ones
in last 5 months :) this being an offset car makes it a bit moree of a challenge as we trying to get the weight
as close to even as possible. that said it won't happen, We will put as many accessories as we can
on passenger sidae of car in process. The cage along is alot of extra weight and the frame is heavier
fronm centre to driver side, with small frame added to hold body in play on passenger side.

Prostock cars have 300- 400 lbs of wieght added, they have to be 2700 lbs, we do not have wieght rules,
but road race cars tend to be heavier by design, so take wieghts out, add it in pieces,
Be interesting to see what it weights when done, we will wieght each corner as well
help with set up to know balance.

biggest difference is suspension, which has been completely changed, We still have lots to do
and be lots to learn this summer, before we are real fast, hopefully learnign curve is not to steep.
Has been alot of fun so far, As long as it makes me samile, then we are doing it right :)
